"So what do you think?"

I am in a meeting with Dallas because she is the one that will be doing the interior design of the school I am building. I am really impressed with the work she did with the house at Versailles.

"It's just so amazing how you can come up with this concept. It's very age appropriate."

"This isn't my first school to design, Alexandria. Glad you liked it. Are you sure you don't want to modify anything in my concept?"

"Do you like it when people modify anything with your concept?"

"I love my work and I'm proud of what I do. But I welcome ideas. After all, its not me who will be using the building for the longest time. Sometimes, clients have great ideas too. So we also have to be open about it."

"I really appreciate this. You know, people think that ballet is only just for women or girls. It can also be for men or boys."

Inayos na nito ang mga gamit nito. "Who are you working with on the furnitures?"

"I've talked to Jarvis back at the club. He says he's excited to work on this project."

She rolled her eyes. "Of course he is."

"Oh. Are you not in good terms with him? You guys really worked well with my house."

She shrugged. "Ayoko lang sa mukha niya." She grabbed her bag and stood up. "I need to go. Give me a call anytime, Alexandria."

I waved her goodbye. I sat back down as I finished my coffee. Hindi na ito nag-order ng inumin dahil aalis lang din naman daw ito kaagad. I wonder why she dislikes Jarvis. He's nice and a perfect gentleman.

Napukaw ang atensiyon ko nang may mapansin akong papalapit na babae sa mesa ko. She's the last person I want to see or talk with.

"I believe we haven't met."

She proudly sat on the chair in front of me. Great, what a way to ruin a morning.

"I don't think we have a reason to." Sabi ko at iniwas ang tingin dito.

"Really? But we have something in common don't we?"

Humugot ako ng malalim na hininga bago ito tinignan sa mata. "Why are you here and talking to me anyway? What do you need from me?"

"Oh nothing. Did you like that kiss that you saw last time? Juan Miguel is a really good kisser huh? And a good lover too if you know what I mean."

Napatiim-bagang ako. I need to restrain myself from kicking this woman on the face. I have more class than that.

"But you know what's more interesting? Valentine's not the only day that happened. Of course you know right?"

Kumunot ang noo ko. What is she talking about?

"Oh c'mon, Alexandria. Don't play that drama on me now. You know what I am talking about. That night? At the balcony when he asked me to be his girlfriend?"

Tila nanlamig ang katawan ko. I thought no one knew about that aside from me and Miggy's grandmother. And she was the one who asked Miggy to be her boyfriend.

"Oh now you remember. Akala mo ba hindi kita nakita? How poor you looked that night? Crying in a corner like a lost puppy? I guess nothing has changed. You're still that puppy chasing after her owner who doesn't want her back anymore."
