When we finished dinner, we went to the viewdeck. It was surprisingly clear tonight. Hindi maulap. Hindi rin gaanong malamig at mahangin.

"I hope you liked it here."

"I do! It looks majestic up here." I snapped a couple more photos and sent them to Agatha para inggitin ito.

"There is no other time for me to do this."

He wasn't behind me...oh. He was on one knee. Parang tumigil akong huminga.

"Miggy..."

"This is the same ring I offered to you then. It still holds the same feelings I had for you back then, Xan. Even after eight years, sa iyo ko pa rin gustong ialok ang singsing na ito. You're still the woman I wanted to marry. Alexandria Illustre, will you marry me?"

Napatakip ako sa labi ko. My tears started falling. Is this true? Is Juan Miguel really asking me to marry him?

"Miggy..."

"There isn't anything between us now. I am more confident that this time, its going to be me whom you'll choose."

I smiled and nodded. "Yes, I'll marry you."

Maybe that's why he was tensed since a while ago. He was worried about nothing. He kissed me and embraced me. I've never been happier.

When we got home, we didn't even had to turn on the lights. We were kissing in the living room and our clothes flew everywhere in an instant.

He made slow and passionate love to me that night. It was a night unlike any other. He worshipped me and said sweet nothings to me. Even as the sun turned up the next day, we were still entangled with each other with my body writhing underneath him.

I plan on calling Agatha to share her the news but I decided to just savor the moment for now. I have waited for this for eight agonizing years.

He may not be home until midnight he said.

Despite that, I prepared dinner for him para may makain ito pag-uwi. I actually met Azrael again when I went grocery shopping a while ago.

"Where's the prince of darkness?" Tanong nito sa akin.

"He has a meeting in Manila. He'll be home tonight."

"Let's see. Is there a possibility for him to not be a prince of darkness soon?"

I smiled. "I guess. I mean, his patience and affection is all reserved for me."

"I see. My fairy would agree with you."

"Why? I mean you yourself should know the answer to your question why Miggy is like that."

"You see, my fairy is the kindest person I know. Other people around me? No. Women continue to approach me and I just have to give that treatment to keep them away from me. And I'm just not interested anymore. I found all that I need and want in one woman. I'm good for life."

I didn't see Azrael as some lovey-dovey kind of guy. But maybe love does change things.

On my way out, tinulungan ako ni Enteng na mukhang nag-grocery din.

"My fiesta ba sa bahay niyo? Apocalypse? Bakit ang dami mong binili? Nasaan iyung alalay mo?"

Natawa ako. "Miggy is not my alalay, Enteng. And I'm just preparing dinner for him. He'll come from Manila so I had to at least prepare him something."

Tumango-tango ito. "I assume you have succeeded?" His eyes dropped on my hand but he didn't say anything.

I just smiled. "Is it safe to say we are? Maybe. Of course with your help."

"I'm happy for you. But if that guy hurts you, your ballerinas are just here."

Natawa ako sa sinabi nito. He was able to say that with a straight face. He really is different form his twin. The difference is very distinguishable.

The question is still left unanswered as to what that date signified. He proposed to me. Was that the same date he proposed to me eight years ago?

Maybe I should gather up the courage to ask him. I think nothing can break us now. He asked me to marry him.

I should plan on a get together with my ballet friends to let them know the news.

"Hey, Johnny."

"So, I have scheduled a meeting with you and their representative. I'm so excited. Agatha is too. Aren't you excited?"

"I am. I can almost imagine the kids that I'll be teaching. This is such a great opportunity, Johnny."

Maybe I just want to hear what they want to say. I have made up my mind. I'm staying here. Especially now that Miggy and I are going to get married already.

"I sent you the email so just check okay? I'll see you here soon?"

I smiled. Miggy might love to go to Paris. I'll show him my favorite places there. He should have gone several times since Ireland is not that far. I can already imagine their faces when I tell them that I am engaged to the love of my life.

"I'll see you guys soon. I missed Paris."

I made a mental note to prep for an itinerary para sa Paris trip namin ni Miggy.

Umaga na at wala pa si Miggy. He didn't leave any calls or texts if he came home. I tried calling him but his phone was off. That's weird.

I placed the food I cooked last night in a container so that I can heat it up in his place. Baka tulog pa ito. He must be tired from office and travelling.

I hurriedly went to his house only to stop at my feet.

There are clothes everywhere. They are not mine. There were undergarments, a red dress, a necktie, a pair of stilleto shoes, his coat...

There must be...there must be an explanation to this.

I heard footsteps and just like that, I woke up from this dream.
