I was pacing back and forth while inside the hotel room. Marceline just brought in my wedding dress and it just dawned on me that really am getting married.

"Don't you dare back out, Ria. Ayoko na ng fourth time sa inyo ni Miggy ha." Sabi ni Agatha sa akin habang tinutulungan akong isuot ang wedding gown ko.

"I'm not backing out. I'm just nervous, you know."

"Juan Miguel is already there if that's what you're worried about. I made sure that he will be tied down to the chair until you show up. Not that he has plans to run away."

I looked at my reflection in the mirror. The gown was a deep V ball gown with details that resembled feathers. Marceline created a gown that was inspired by the swan lake ballet performance I did before.

"You're breathtaking." Bulong ni Marceline.

"This is so beautiful, Marceline."

"Of course, I created it." She chuckled. "Kidding. But I am excited to see the groom's reaction."

"Me too."

I rubbed my hands together to shake off the nerves. My father fetched me not too long after and we proceed to go to the garden.

The garden was decorated beautifully with different white flowers. Majority of the club members are invited, our families my ballet friends and acquaintances, and Miggy's business associates.

"Are you ready?" Tanong ni dad sa akin.

"Ready as ever, Dad."

"Know that your Dad is always here, okay? Marriage is a different thing. You can't leave each other after an argument. You have to rely on each other whatever happens."

"I know, Dad. Thank you. We have more faith in each other now. We are better individuals than we were back then."

"Good luck."

We slowly walked down the aisle where Juan Miguel looked dashing in his charcoal gray three piece suit. He chose Jarvis to be his best man.

"You look ravishing." Bulong niya sa akin. I blushed and smiled at him.

As we faced the altar together, we promised each other that we are each other's equals. That the past will just serve as learning to us.

As we sealed our marriage with a kiss, I truly, genuinely felt that finally at long last, I am home.

I dropped by the bakery and got some coffee, croissants and baguettes on the way home. When I opened the door to our Paris home, I looked for my husband. As expected he was on his home office. Naka-kunot nanaman ang noo nito at tila seryoso sa kung anumang binabasa nito sa laptop nito.

"Hey."

He looked up and his face immediately brightened. This was reminiscent of the time when I brought home food for him when he was studying his master's.
