Kandi I just made it home after a long day of filming for RHOA. The scenes we filmed today were basically all of them going back in forth about the same shit for hours leaving me irritated. All I wanted to do was eat and cuddle with my wife until I fell asleep.
"Bae!" I yelled into the house, as I turned the corner into the living room.
"I'm in the kitchen, baby!" She yelled back and I kept walking until I made it there. Instantly growing more irritated as she came into view.
I stopped in my tracks and pouted as I saw her eating some wings.
"Hey, baby. What's wrong?" She asked, holding her arms out for me.
"You better have some for me.."
"You said you would be filming all day. I figured you would've ate by now.." she said, before taking a bite of another wing.
"So, I guess that means you didn't get me any.."
"No, I'm sorry baby. I can go get you something after I'm done.."
"Whatever. Just forget it I'll eat something else.." I rolled my eyes and started to make my way out of the kitchen when I felt arms wrap around me.
"Get off me, Tamika!"
"Why? Are you really mad?" She asked from behind me.
"Yes, I'm really mad! How you go get food only for you like you the only person that live here!" I yelled and turned around in her arms.
"Okay, I'm sorry. I didn't think you would want any, but I said I can go get you some."
"No, I don't want it now. Just finish eating your food and leave me the hell alone.." I stormed upstairs and went straight to our room. I don't care if I'm overreacting. She knew I would be hungry too and then she got wings. She knows I love wings.
I started to take my shoes off before getting an idea. I laughed pulling out my phone to text Tiny.
: lets go get some food
Tiny: Yo ass always want some food, but okay. - Where at?
: That place we went to last month. I can't remember the name🥴
Tiny: Twisted? They had that fried chicken.
: Mmhm. Meet in like 30 minutes?
Tiny: An hour with the way traffic is set up
: You right - I'll call ahead and see what's their wait time.
Tiny: Okay, see you soon, sis!
I wrapped up the conversation and went into my closet to change my outfit. I wanted something more comfortable so I could really eat how I wanted too. I changed into a joggers set and a pair of sneakers to match.
I went downstairs and headed straight for the door. I almost made it out the door when I heard Tamika behind me.
"Where you going?"
"Out to get food since my wife decide to eat without me.."
"I said I was sorry babe, but that doesn't mean you try to sneak out.." I laughed and made a face that said 'really'.
"I wasn't trying to sneak out. I'm grown I can come and go as I please.." I said, now offended.
"I didn't say you couldn't, but you were trying to be sneaky about it and you didn't even say anything to me..."
"Because I don't have to! I don't even know why I'm talking to yo ass now.." And with that I stormed out the house. She called for me from behind, but I ignored her rushing to my car and pulling out of the driveway.
I made it to the restaurant and met up with Tiny. We were seated and we started talking as usual.
"So girl, why you really ask me out here?" She asked.
"Cause yo damn sister gon eat without me talking about she didn't think I'd be hungry. When am I ever not hungry?"
"Now she know she wrong for that.." She laughed.
"Right, so I left her ass and I'm not bringing her shit back either.."
"That's petty you better get her a wing or something.." She laughed again and I rolled my eyes.
"You bring her one. I'm not getting her a crumb of nothing.."
We scanned the menus and eventually got our food. I instantly had a smile on my face as I started eating. We ate and talked until we eventually decided to leave. I invited Tiny to come over mainly because I still wanted to kick it with her.
We made it inside and surprisingly my wife was nowhere to be found. We sat in the living room and talked for a while before we were found.
"Heyy Tiny!" I heard, causing me to roll my eyes.
"Hey, sister. How are you?"
"I'm alright.." she said as they hugged and she made her way over to me. "You still mad at me?" She asked and I kept my eyes focused on my phone.
"What you think?" I asked eventually watching as she sat next to me. She moved her legs on top of my lap and I pushed them off of me.
"Girl, move!"
"Y'all are a mess!" Tiny laughed.
"Kandi, let me talk to you.." She didn't give me much of a choice as I was then pulled off the couch and into the kitchen.
"What do I have to do to show you I'm sorry? You were right, I should've gotten you food, but this petty game you're playing isn't going to work for me too much longer."
"Well that's too bad. I'm mad and I don't care to hash this out right now." I moved quickly attempting to move out of her grip only to be clutched tighter.
Now we were chest to chest with one of her arms wrapped around my waist. Both of my hands rested on her chest desperately trying to create space between the two of us.
"Now, baby, you know how quickly I could turn this on you and have you saying sorry to me. So, I think you should accept my apology and fix your attitude"
"Whatever, Tamika. Can I get back to talking to Tiny?" I looked at her face and could tell I was trying it, but I couldn't seem to care. She should've thought about that before eating without me.
She pulled away from me and went to the microwave to pull out a bag. "Open it.."
I opened the bag cautiously and then opened the container inside to find it full of wings. She should've started her apology with this.
"Where's the ranch?" I looked up at her unimpressed before she pulled out a large sauce container from the fridge.
"Thank you.." I said and she nodded before closing the container and putting it up for me. "Forgive me?"
"Yeah, but if you eat without me again we're getting a divorce."
"Over some wings Kandi?" She tilted her head to the side and I nodded my head.
"I forgot how you get about food.." she laughed.
"Mmhm and I don't know why you put that up I'm about to eat it now.." I said, going to the microwave and heating the wings.
"Didn't you just eat?"
"Mind your business.." I laughed as I prepared to eat the wings.
