I was sitting on my bed with Tamika starting to grow very suspicious. Her recent behavior had been off but it wasn't until today that I started to put pieces together of a puzzle I wasn't fond of.
The past couple of months she's been acting weird to say the least. However, these last few weeks have turned weird into straight secretive.
Staying out late, not giving straight answers, always on her phone, and hiding it from me.
I definitely didn't want to think the worse but everything was pointing to the obvious. The obvious being that she was cheating on me.
Today I decided I was going to test if my hunch was right, but I prayed that it wasn't. I loved my wife and it would absolutely crush me to know that she would do something like that.
I moved closer to her on the bed as her attention was on her phone and climbed into her lap. She quickly put her phone down onto the bed, face down, and then gave me her full attention.
"Hey, baby.." She smiled and wrapped her arms around me. "Hey. What you doing?"
"Uh nothing.."
"Oh, we'll who were you texting.."
"Oh! My sister. She— um, sent me some stupid, funny video."
"Really? Let me see."
I watched as panic ran through her face but she quickly composed herself trying to come up with a response.
"You probably wouldn't get it. Like I said it was stupid, but uh— I missed you today and you look good.." She attempted to distract me by running her hands over my ass.
"Thank you, baby I appreciate that, but uh— can I see the video? You were laughing pretty hard. I wanna laugh too.." I was trying my hardest to stay calm but I was failing. She was clearly hiding something and whatever it was it was in her phone.
To my surprise she relented, grabbing her phone, and going to the video to show me.
She was right it was stupid. It was some random Tik tok that I didn't pay much attention too. After I was done watching it she quickly grabbed her phone back and went into the bathroom, locking the door.
Yeah, she was definitely hiding something and a Tik tok was not it.
•• The next day..
"Okay, that's kind of good. It was just a video. " Tiny asked through the phone. "Yeah, but why don't I feel relieved?" I asked.
"I don't know. Kandi maybe you're just being paranoid. Do you really think she'd cheat on you?"
"No, but she's doing something. I just can't think of anything else it could be" I sighed.
"Aww Kandi. Listen maybe you should just talk to her. Ask her and I'm sure she will reassure you that she's not cheating on you.."
