"Lia bug..." I softly yelled throughout the house as I searched for Talia.
I was trying to make her lunch but it was hard with her asking me a question every other second. So, I decided to tell her we could play hide and go seek.
This was the worst possible decision ever because now I can't find her. She usually always hides in the same place which was in the little closet under the stairs. However, this time she must've gotten bored in one spot and went to find another.
This left me no choice but to search every inch of the house to find her.
"Talia! This isn't funny, you need to come out now!" I yelled as I walked into her room.
Still nothing.
I kept walking through the house until I made it to my bedroom. I groaned as I turned the corner into the room to find it completely trashed.
My eyes widened in shook as I saw her holding a large bottle of baby powder that was now spread across the floor.
"Talia Kapri Scott!"
"Hi mama.." She giggled as she dropped the bottle out of her hand letting it hit the floor.
"Don't hi mama me! Why would you do this?"
She shrugged and shifted on her feet as she lowered her head. I moved closer to her and lifted her chin to see little tears.
I almost cracked and let her get away with this because she's so cute. However, it took one look around the room for me to realize I couldn't let this go.
"Talia, you know better.." I wiped her tears not being able to stand seeing them before telling her to wait for me in her room.
Immediately after I rushed to grab the handheld vacuum so I could try to clean up all the baby powder. Unfortunately she spread it all over the room including the bed, the ottoman at the end of our bed, the nightstands, and our en-suite bathroom.
I started by removing the sheets from the bed before using the vacuum to get any baby powder that seeped through into the mattress.
I heard the front door open and close causing me to panic. Kandi was going to kill me when she saw this.
I grabbed the sheets placing them off to the side before rushing to our door to stop her before she could come in.
"Baby?" I heard her yell as she came up the steps.
"Hey.." I nervously smiled.
"Hey, where's Lia? You know you left y'all food on the counter?"
"Yeah, um, so don't be mad, okay?" I grabbed her hand, squeezing it.
She squinted her eyes at me before pressing her tongue to her cheek and folding her arms across her chest.
"I'm not promising that.." She said.
"Okay so Lia wanted me to play with her so I told her we could play hide and seek so it could give me time to finish making her lunch but when I came to look for her I may have found our entire room trashed with baby powder.."
"You're playing... move!" She pushed me off to the side so she could see for herself.
"Oh hell no! Talia! Oh nah... I'm whopping ass tonight.." she yelled.
