I pulled into the place we were supposed to be meeting to discuss the possibility of this tour. I honestly didn't know what to expect considering me and my sister still weren't on good terms.
I came separate from Kandi being that we were both busy earlier today. I sat in my car waiting for her to pull up so we could walk in together.
I was broken out of my daydream when I heard a knock at my window. When I saw who it was I grabbed my keys and opened my door.
"Don't be knocking on my window like that, ma'am!"
"Bye! You weren't paying attention.." She rolled her eyes as I got out of the car. I pulled her into a hug and pecked her lips
"Mmhm you look good.." I said changing the subject, looking her up and down. I took note of the fact that she wasn't wearing what she had on this morning, but didn't speak on it. She knows me all too well because she immediately spoke up.
"I had these wings and the sauce got all on my shirt, but I had some extra clothes in my trunk..." She said.
"-Already knew what I was thinking, huh?" I laughed and she joined in. "I know my wife..." she replied with a smile.
"Yeah, cause I was going to have a lot of questions later.." I said, as I opened the door for both of us. We walked in and pretty much everyone was already here except Coco and LeLee.
We greeted everyone and of course my sister acted like she didn't see me, but I paid it no mind. Just as we were about to sit down Coko came strolling in and gave everyone hug.
When she got to Kandi I couldn't help but notice that her hands lingered on her ass longer than it should have. I brushed it off even though it bothered me because I felt no one should touch her like that, but me. Nonetheless, I breathed and let the meeting go on without a fuss.
We went on discussing the tour which I was very excited about only to be left annoyed with my sisters sour attitude. I wasn't sure how it took so long for me to realize, but I'm glad I'm able to see through her bullshit now.
"You look so out of it.." Taj said, speaking to Tocha.
"No, I'm cool, I just have reservations.." Tocha spoke back. Reservations for what, we're already at a damn restaurant.
I fought the urge to laugh as I locked eyes with Kandi. She looked completely over it. Tocha is always the main one to avoid talking about any issue, but will simultaneously say that we need to work on our issues in order to move forward.
Make it make sense. It's crazy that she says we have a lot of internal issues when she seemed to be the root of them all, but okay.
We wrapped that discussion up quickly, Thank God, and began to eat. We ate, talking about how good the food was, and I heard my phone ding. I looked down to see a text from Kandi.
