THE SOUND OF quiet laughter filled her ears, as she watched Ni-Ki attempt at keeping his composure, not wanting to disturb the few other guests that were dining in the restaurant they were currently seated in.

A small frown rested at her lips, leaning back into her seat as she focused down on the candle placed on the center of the table, creating a warm lighting.

To her right, sat Sunghoon, and to her left was Jay. Straight across from her was Ni-Ki, of which was deep in a conversation with Eunhee about which cat breed Jungwon was most likely to be-- hence their bubbling laughter.

"You seem to be deep in thought." The boy sitting to the left of her nudged her gently, snapping her out her trance as she let out a hum, looking towards him.

"Huh? Oh, yeah. Sorry." She muttered out, sitting up straight in her seat and brushed her hair out of her face. "What's on your mind, if you don't mind me asking?" Sunghoon asked, perking up at the conversation starting between the three of them.

Haneul shrugged slightly, shaking her head. "Nothing, really. Just random stuff." She huffed out, swirling her drink with her straw out of boredom.

"Ayy, you little liar." Sunghoon scoffed, a teasing grin at his lips as she rolled her eyes playfully.

"You're still persistent, I see." She mumbled out, clicking her tongue.

"And you're still secretive." He shot back, crossing his arms over his chest as he watched her press her lips together in a thin line.

"No but, seriously tho. What's on your mind?" Jay asked quietly, making sure only the three of them could hear. Haneul hummed slightly, gaze shifting up to see everyone else immersed in their over separate conversation.

"Me and Heeseung uh.. talked. In the ferris wheel." She muttered, taking a sip from the coca-cola she had ordered whilst she waited for her food.

"..and?" Sunghoon tilted his head, quirking a brow in interest.

"He told me he was sorry, even though he already apologized over text.. then, he was talking to me about how things were so obviously awkward between the two of us, and how he wished it wouldn't be that way." She sighed out, resting her chin in the palm of her hand.
