RAINY WORK DAYS were always relaxing, as there weren't many people who went out due to the weather -- resulting in a calm and quiet environment for Lee Heeseung and Sim Jaeyun, who were currently running their business.

Sitting at a table beside each other, Jake had his chin on the older boy's shoulder, peering down at Heeseung's phone as he scrolled lazily through tiktok as a source of entertainment.

It had now been two days since both Haneul and Heeseung had officially become friends, and things had quickly escalated from the -- with the two texting more frequently, to each other privately and becoming more active in the group chat.

It wasn't hard to figure out that the two were ultimately becoming closer, tied to a string for better or for worse, to be in each other's life whether it be dating, or just friends as they were now.

"That's so stupid.. save it and send it to Ni-Ki later." Jake muttered, gesturing to Heeseung's screen that displayed the TikTok of which made him think of his friend.

Heeseung huffed out a small laugh, going to save the video. As he was doing that, the soft chime of the bell rang throughout the building, the sound of rain pattering against the smooth pavement outside growing louder for a brief moment as the door opened and closed.

Looking up from his phone screen, his eyes widened in surprise upon seeing Kim Haneul enter, followed after by a girl he recognized as her friend, having seen her when he visited leniverse.

"Hana, what are you doing here?" Jake spoke first, perking up as he lifted his head to look at her. Haneul turned her attention from her friend, to Jake and Heeseung, who were seated at a random table next to a window.

"Oh, hi!" She greeted with a small laugh, pushing her somewhat wet hair that stuck to her skin back.

"We both got stuck in the rain," she spoke, referring to herself and the blonde haired girl who stood beside her. "This place was close, so I led us here to get out of the rain. Sorry if it's so sudden." She apologized, earning a small laugh from the two boys who waved it off.

"Nah, it's fine. But, how did you guys manage to get stuck in the rain? Haven't you seen the forecast?" Heeseung raised a brow, watching as the two shook their heads.
