"SO, WHAT DID you say?" Sunghoon questioned, snacking on a bowl of goldfish as he leaned back into the couch, eyes focused on his older friend of which sat at the end of the couch next to Jay.
"Obviously, I said yes. I'd be a fool to not be friends again with her." Heeseung huffed out, resting his cheek against the headrest of the couch.
"Okay, thank god. I was worried you like.. messed something up." Jay sighed in relief, earning a glare from the older boy.
"What's that supposed to mean?" He furrowed his brows, looking at his three friends in the room as they each had a knowing look on their faces.
"I think you know exactly what we mean.." Sunghoon muttered, pursing his lips together slightly as Heeseung sighed, closing his eyes as he leaned further back into the couch.
"I hate you all."
"You hate us, but you continuously invite us into your home.." Jake pointed out, raising a brow as Heeseung grumbled to himself.
"I-- shut up." He mumbled, hugging a throw pillow to his chest as he played with the loose string.
"So, what now? Hana and Hee are finally.. friends again, so.. what's next?" Jay questioned, as the room filled with silence.
"I mean, nothing much..? I've accomplished what I wanted-- which was to fix things between us. We're friends now, and on good terms. I don't wanna do anything more and mess anything up.." Heeseung said, swallowing the small lump in his throat.
"I'm very much content with what's going on between us right now." He added, as his friends each expressed their agreement to his words.
"Fair enough.. Have you ever spoken to her at all since then?" Jake asked, as Heeseung nodded his head.
"I have. Earlier this morning, actually.. she texted me, said she was on her way to work. She was talking about how she was having a sleepover with her friends later tonight." He explained, adjusting his position on his couch slightly as she sat upright, turning to face his friends.
"I'll be honest, I'm relieved that you two are getting along well.. originally, I was worried that things would be awkward between the two of you." Sunghoon admitted, earning a breathy laugh from Heeseung.
