WITH HIS RIGHT hand on her jaw and the other resting lighting on her waist, the boy leaned only a little bit closer, closing the gap between them as they were sealed into a kiss.
The girl paused at the feeling of his lips pressed up against her own, heart beating at rapid speeds before she had relaxed, melting into the kiss as she turned her whole body towards him, adjusting her position slightly as her hand cupped his cheek, thumb grazing gently over his skin.
Heeseung smiled into the kiss, feeling her hand creep up at the back up his neck, tangling her fingers into the hair resting on his nape.
Only a few moments later, the girl pulled away from the kiss, small breaths escaping her lips as she leaned into the arms of the boy, resting her forehead on his shoulder as she gripped onto the back of his shirt after wrapping her arms around his frame.
Kim Haneul couldn't help but to smile, a breathy laugh sounding from her mouth as she shook her head slightly, nuzzling her face into the crook of his neck.
"What's so funny, hmm?" Heeseung narrowed his eyes, furrowing his brows as curiosity struck within him. The girl shrugged, sighing before replying with a hum.
"Mm.. nothing, really. Just finding all of this hard to believe. It feels unreal to me, that's all." She admitted, as he nodded his head slowly, following along with her words.
A moment of silence engulfed them, nothing but the spring atmosphere sounding around them. That is, until the boy took a breath and broke the silence between the two of them.
"I agree." He muttered, swallowing the lump in his throat before continuing on with what he has to say. "Like, with how everything feels unreal." He added on quickly, drumming his fingers against her waist as he searched for the correct words to express the thoughts that had rested in his mind, echoing only for him to hear.
"I'm going to be honest with you, Haneul.. I never exactly expected to be, uhm.. in this situation. But, every step that I took that led me up to this moment, I don't regret it at all." Heeseung stated, nodding his head to the words that had flown from his own lips.
