KIM HANEUL WAS lost in thought, her mind too active to find herself drifting off into her dreamland. She sighed, squeezing her eyes shut as she tried to block out all the thoughts occupying her brain, rolling over in her bed and hugging her pillow tightly to her chest.
It was only a few minutes later, had she decided to give up. Huffing out a small breath, she sat up in her bed, head turning to look at the smart clock resting on her bedside table.
The girl frowned, reading the time displayed in bold, red numbers on the screen of the alarm clock.
12:09am.
Whilst it wasn't too late, she definitely didn't have any plans on staying up that late tonight. She felt the need to get sleep, as she didn't want to ruin her sleep schedule even more from previous nights of staying up late unintentionally.
Grabbing her phone off of the charger, she winced slightly at the brightness of her phone screen, blinking a few times to get her eyes used to the lighting.
Soon enough, she found herself opening random apps -- ranging from TikTok, to Twitter, atlas, Instagram. Pressing her lips together in a thin line, she scrolled through her feed, liking posts she hadn't already and watching stories of which her friends or random celebrities she followed had posted.
As she continued this small routine, her eyebrows raised in surprise, staring at the notification which had popped up at the top of her screen.
