THE EX COUPLE filled the back of the Uber with small conversations surrounding different topics, filling the silence of the car with ease as the girl leaned her head against the window, closing her eyes as Heeseung's voice filled her ears.
"We're here, Haneul." He muttered out, earning a small hum from the girl who lifted her head, staring outside of the window as she admired the scenery.
Exiting the car after thanking the Uber driver, Haneul brushed her hair out of her face, eyes wandering around their surrounding areas.
"Where are we?" She asked, turning her head to look at the boy who hummed, letting out a small sigh in content.
"You'll see. Come on, follow me." He spoke, gesturing for her to follow him as he began to walk down the sidewalk, looking up at the trees beside the path they walked on.
"Not gonna lie, it feels like you're just leading me to some random secluded area to like.. murder me or something." The girl pursed her lips, narrowing her eyes as she stared at his side profile. She watched as a smile formed on his face as he turned his head to look at her.
"Oh, come on, was I that obvious?" He joked, crossing his arms over his chest as he clicked his tongue.
Haneul rolled her eyes, shaking her head as she let out a small sigh. "Very funny." She huffed out, sarcasm laced in her tone, to which she received a snicker from the boy in response.
"No, but like actually, what is this place? Where are we going?" She questioned, brows furrowed in both confusion and curiosity.
"You'll see, just wait a second." He replied, gesturing up ahead as they rounded a corner. Almost instantly, her eyes landed on a playground built in the center of an empty area, trees surrounding the area.
Tilting her head to the side, she looked over to Heeseung in confusion. "What are we doing at a children's playground?" She asked, as he shrugged, beginning to walk slowly towards the playground.
Haneul followed shortly behind him reluctantly, arms crossed over her chest.
"You said you didn't get to experience going to the playground, but it's not too late to experience it now." He spoke, as she raised her brows in surprise to his words.
