THE GIRL COULDN'T help but to rock back and forth on the heels of her feet nervously, lips pursed as she gripped onto the back of the tan blazer he wore.
Despite having met with his parents plenty of times, as well as even being comfortable enough with them to be left alone without Heeseung present -- due to the many years it's been since she last saw them, to say she was just nervous was an understatement.
"Haneul, relax, my parents love you. You're aware of that. There's no need for you to freak yourself out." Heeseung mumbled, slowing down to allow her to walk alongside him as he reached out, grabbing onto her hand and giving it a light squeeze.
The girl grumbled in response, rolling her eyes playfully as she shook her head at his words. "Of course you're not concerned. They're your parents, you have no reason to be nervous. Me on the other hand.. I have a lot to worry about." She muttered out, earning a quiet snicker from the boy who shook his head.
"Once again, you're just freaking yourself out. I can assure you that both my mom and my dad are very happy to see you." He pointed out with a quiet sigh, pausing as they reached the front porch step.
"My main concern is my mom is one hundred percent going to embarrass me by showing you my childhood photos, as she always used to do when you came over." He admitted with pursed lips, wanting to lighten her mood -- and, it was successful as a laugh escaped her lips.
"Oh my god, I hope she does. It's been too long since I've seen a photo of baby Heeseung.. my favorite was always the one where you were doing the peace sign. So cute." She teased, clicking her tongue.
Heeseung rolled his eyes in response to her words, shaking his head slightly as he pulled her along with him up the concrete stairs. Soon enough, they stood on the familiar front porch step -- staring at the navy colored wooden door in front of them.
"Are you ready?" He raised a brow, as she reluctantly nodded her head.
"I'm gonna be honest, no. But I'm currently gaslighting myself, so let's just go inside before I have a full on meltdown." She admitted, watching as the boy nodded quickly, leaning forward as his free hand wrapped around the silver doorknob.
