MUCH TO HER surprise, the restaurant had seemed to be pretty busy -- as she was constantly on her feet, cooking and plating it for Chaewon to serve. Perhaps it was because they had gotten renovations, and customers had thought the place looked 'flashy' enough to visit.
With a small break in between waves of customers, the girl let out a tired breath, leaning against the counter and brushing the loose bangs that had escaped from the ponytail she had put her hair in a few hours prior.
"It's so busy today.." Chaewon commented, lips pursed as she crossed her arms over her chest, eyes wandering around the occupied tables.
"I know.. I'm honestly shocked. Sure, we've been busy.. but, never this busy. I don't know what happened over the course of us closing for a few days for renovations, but all I know is that it's good for business." Sakura shrugged, pursing her lips as Kazuha sighed.
"Good for business, but very tiring." Kazuha mumbled, earning a small pat on the head from Haneul.
"Yeah.. we should probably start looking into hiring more people. For waiting tables, cleaning and cooking. It'll be beneficial for not only us, but for the customers as well." Yunjin suggested.
"Could we please? I don't think I could take much more. Working is fun, but my feet hurt a lot now." Eunchae complained, puffing up her cheeks as she stretched out her legs.
Haneul chuckled quietly, heaving out a sigh before standing upright and rolling up the sleeves of her blazer.
"I should probably be using this break to take care of some stuff -- like the dishes. It's piling up back there, and who knows how many people we'll have to serve-- or if the ones we already have decide to order dessert or something." The girl explained, earning nods in understanding from the other five standing before her.
"Yeah, you're right. I mean.. surely we won't get too many people to serve? We close in about an hour, anyways." Yunjin pointed out, staring down at her wrist watch.
"True. But, there could always be those people who come in like.. two minutes before our closing hour and demand to be served." Chaewon huffed, as both Yunjin and Kazuha grumbled at the thought.
