BEING IN THE comfort of his own home, on his rather comfortable bed after a long day of walking around the mall and practically babysitting two teenagers was just enough to calm him down; but with the combination of both that as well as the fact that he had none other than Kim Haneul curled up against him made him even more relaxed.
His fingers ran through her hair gently -- untangling any knots of which had formed in the midst of her moving around whilst adjusting herself into a more comfortable position.
Although it was something he'd never admit to the girl, his heart practically skipped a beat as soon as she had tiredly cuddled up beside him, having sought comfort by being merely next to him.
After a brief moment of silence, Lee Heeseung let out a quiet sigh, adjusting his position before opening his arms -- catching the girls attention with a quiet hum. He watched as a vague smile painted her lips, crawling into his hold and melting in the warmth of his hug, resting her cheek against her shoulder.
"What all have you done today to make yourself so exhausted?" He chuckled quietly, careful not to disturb her peace as she shrugged, shaking her head slightly.
"Nothing, that's the problem. My day consisted of me doing absolutely nothing, to the point that I got so bored that it was just mentally and physically draining. I regret listening to the girls and not going to work. Or, I could have at least tagged along with you at the ramen place." She muttered out, chest rising up and down slowly as she took small breaths.
Heeseung paused, pursing his lips. Of course, she had still believed that he was at work, instead of shopping for her with Jungwon and Eunhee. It was the lie he had told her in hopes to avoid suspicion, as he wanted to be able to surprise her with the fact he got her a gift.
"Mm.. I think if you were there, you'd only stress yourself out. It was really busy." Heeseung waved it off, fingertips dancing at her waistline as he rested his chin on top of her head.
"It would've kept my brain occupied, tho. I wouldn't be in the current state I'm in, had I found something to keep myself busy. I mean, I tidied up a bit, but it was a short-lived moment considering there wasn't much to clean." She sighed out, brows furrowing slightly as she leaned into his hold more; if even possible.
