Alastor's POV
The next week at school, I walked over to Audrey at her locker.
I hadn't seen her all week and she wasn't answering anyones phone calls. I would have thought she was dead if it weren't for Noah being the only one able to tell everyone if she was alive or not. He was the only one she would talk too.
"I'm glad that you and Gina are okay," I said, putting my hand on her shoulder. She shrugged my hand off. "Wha-"
"Just because you had a panic attack still doesn't prove you didn't kill those people," Audrey said and stalked away.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?
She still doesn't believe me? I scowled and looked at the floor. Of course she doesn't, that's just how Audrey Jensen is.
So fucked up that she assumes the worst of people no matter what. My hands clenched into fists.
"Woah, what's got you all angry?" Noah asked. I sighed, shaking my head.
"I just saved everyone from Tom, and Audrey saw it. And she even said she believes I didn't kill Vanessa and Serena and comforted me during a panic attack," I explained to him. "But... she still thinks I killed them for some reason."
Noah ran his hand through his hair, avoiding eye contact.
"What? What is it?" I asked.
"You didn't hear it from me," he said, glancing over his shoulder, "but Gina broke up with Audrey."
"What!?"
"I know."
"But I saw them talking, and I thought everything was okay?"
"I know."
"I mean, they kissed, and they were all happy and shit."
"I know."
I looked at Noah. "What the fuck happened?"
"We can't talk here," he told me, and the bell rang. He pulled his backpack over his shoulder. "Meet me in my car after school."
"Okay, I agreed, and we both walked to our classes.

"Hey, I'm having a party ton Wednesday at my house," Brooke said as she walked up next to me and Noah. "You're invited."
"Oh, sweet," Noah smiled.
Brooke looked me up and down. "I guess you can come, too."
I averted my eyes and she scoffed, walking over to Emma and Stavo. We made our way through the parking lot and too Noah's car, and I got in the passenger seat before he drove away.
"So, what happened?" I spoke after a few moments of silence. Noah kept his eyes on the road, gripping the steering will.
"After what happened on the island, Gina became manipulative and abusive towards Audrey. Started getting physically violent, too," he spoke, clearly upset.
"Excuse me?" My eyes widened, my jaw dropped in shock.
"Yeah. Right when they got home Gina started yelling at her daily. She would say all sorts of horrible things. And when Audrey confronted her about it yesterday, Gina said more horrible things, gaslighting and manipulating her before dumping her," Noah finished, his knuckles white from how hard he was gripping the steering wheel. I noticed his jaw was clenched, too.
"Oh my fucking Satan, that bitch!" I exclaimed, throwing my hands up in the air. "That explains why she wasn't answering anyone."
"She has been super careful around people now, and super flinchy. She barely trusts anyone. She has also been avoiding people, especially you because..." Noah trailed off.
"Because what?" I asked when he didn't finish.
"Nothing," he said. "Looks like we are home."
He parked and we got out of the car. I was going to ask him if he wanted to help me make dinner but he was already in the house when I got out of the car.
