We need to find a house to rest in for a while, so as we are walking down the road I point at one that's two stories and walk up to the door.
"Are you going to see if anybody is in there first?" asks Parker.
I shake my head "Why would I do that?" I try the door handle and it's unlocked so I go right in. I look back and everybody is lingering at the door.
"Well come on." I say. I walk over the couch and set Tabby down so she can keep sleeping. She wakes up and grabs my wrist.
"Don't leave me." I smile and sit beside her. She gets up and sits on top of me and wraps her arms around my neck and put her face into my chest. I put my chin on her head. "You doing ok?" I ask.
She shakes her head "I'm sorry.." I say. She shrugs and I can hear her sniffle. I kiss the top of her head and close my eyes and we drift to sleep.
