I take Tabby to the side.
"So in two days is a ball that Mrs. Hope wants you to go to." I explain. I can see the fear in her eyes.
"Why does she want me to come?"
"So she can kill you." I say "But I will be there so don't worry, I won't let her lay a finger on you." I lay my hand on her cheek. She leans against it. She looks into my eyes and I see she trusts me.
"We need a plan and some ball attire." She says with a smile. I nod and smile in agreement.
"We need to tell the others." I say. She grabs my arm and turns around. We walk to the others.
"Guys we are going to a ball in two days." She gets to the point. "We need to pack up and get moving." Everyone looks confused.
"She will explain on the way." I butt in. I lean down and whisper in her ear.
"Can I have the honor of the first dance?" She smiles and looks up at me.
"Yes." She whispers.
I help with getting our nonexistent stuff together. Everyone makes sure they have bullets. Tabby gets the bow and arrow I gave her and slings it onto her back. She pates her pocket to make sure she has her gun. She looks at everyone.
"Let's go."
