I was taking a walk by the river beside my house, when I found her. She was floating on her back with her eyes closed. She looked so beautiful with her hair around her and the sun shining down on her. I wade into the water and grab her.
"Miss?" I ask. No reply. Her eyes stay closed. I pick her up and carry her to my house. I have to be careful not to be to loud. I have a gun in my pocket just in case, but with this girl in my arms I won't be able to reach it.
I climb up the stairs and open my front door. I close it behind me and lock the door. I was lucky not to encounter any zombies. I walk up more stairs to the spare bedroom. I walk to the bed and set the girl down. She hasn't moved or opened her eyes yet. I check for a heart beat. It's there but just barely. I get a wash rag from the bathroom and get it wet. I take it back to the girl and set it on her head. She stirs slightly. I walk out of the room and close the door.
