Should I trust this guy? I just met him. But then again he did save me from dying... And he's cute.

"We need to leave as soon as possible." I say "We don't know how far they are from here."

"We can leave now if you want." Says Micah. I stand up.

"Perfect." I say as I walk to the door. I put my hand on my pockets. No gun. I turn to Micah.

"Do you have a gun I can use?" I ask.

"Don't worry about it, I will protect you." He says with a smile. I smirk.

"I happen to be really good with a gun." I say. "So give me one." He sighs and gets a gun for me.

"Thanks." I say when he hands it to me. I make sure it has bullets. I open the door.

"Lets go."

I step out and take a breath of fresh air. It was such a nice day. Great day to kill zombies. We start walking and Micah falls in step next to me.

"Where are you from?" He asks.

"Far from here." I say.

"What happened to your parents?"

"They...um.. I don't know."

"Why don't you know?" He asks.

"They left me and my brother when I was 8." I explain trying not to get emotional. He frowns.

"I'm sorry." He says. I shrug.

"They were abusive." I say and walk faster.  He grabs my hand to slow me down. I jerk my hand away.

"I'm sorry I even brought it up." He apologizes. I try to smile.

"What was your brothers name?" He asks.

"Zayn." I reply with a real smile. "He was the greatest brother a girl could ask for." Micah smiles.

"I felt the same way about my sister." He explains. "What was your boyfriends name?"

"Brandon."

"Was he good to you?"

"The best."

"Would you consider dating again?" He asks. I stop and look at him.

"Are you serious?" I ask. He blushes. When I see he's serious I smile.

"Micah, we barely know each other." I say

"But I feel like I've known you my whole life." He replies. I roll my eyes.

"I'm nothing special." I say as I start walking again. The sun was already starting to set.

"Maybe we should find somewhere to sleep for the night." I suggest.
