I rush after Tabby, she can't be running off, things might happen soon and we got to be ready. I open the door to the house and close it quietly. I walk up the stairs and pick up the sound of sobbing. She must of seen Micah and Isabel together. I slowly walk and stand in the doorway of her room. She is crying with her head between her knees. I didn't expect it to be this bad. I walk into the room and slide down the wall beside her. She looks up and her eyes are swollen and red from crying.
"I didn't expect you to cry so much over him."
"I'm not just crying over him, it kinda just hit me how many friends I've lost." Tears start rushing down her face again. I slide her onto my lap and hug her to me.
"They all would be very proud of you for what you're doing," I say,"you're brave."  She looks at me and smiles a little. I wipe her eyes.
"Nobody has ever said I was brave." She replies. My put my hand on her cheek.
"How much you've been through, duh you're brave." She smiles.
"You're wonderful." She says as she looks into my eyes. I can't resist anymore, so I lean into her and press my lips to hers. She quietly gasps and puts her arms around my neck. I put my forehead on hers and open my eyes. She opens hers and we just sit there looking at one another.
"Those crystal blue eyes will be the death of me." She says with a smile. I chuckle.
"You better now? We need to get back." She nods and she gets up and gives her hand to help me up. We go down the stairs hand in hand. Before I open the door I place a soft kiss on her lips.
"I think I'm in love with you Tabby." I explain.
"And I think I'm in love with you Damon." She smiles and opens the door. We walk to the big building and walk in. Everyone is gone and its eerily quiet. I look around.
"We need to separate." I say. She nods in agreement.
"Is your gun fully loaded?" I ask. She checks.
"Yes. You be careful vampy." She teases.
"Yeah, you too human." I say with a smirk. "You go to the right, I will go to the left." Before we go our separate ways I place a quick kiss to her lips, then walk away.
