"Well guys," I look at everyone "We made it home." I smile. We have been walking for days and I lost count how many. We finally made it back. It felt so good to be home.
"Tabby, I got some lanterns when we were coming back, to send off for everyone you lost." Damon looks at me and hands them to me with a soft smile. I look down at them and tear up. I grab Damon in a hug.
"Thank you so much." I say into his chest. He chuckles.
"You're welcome, love."
We wait until night to send off the lanterns. Everyone lights one up and hands me them, one at a time.
" For Louis, thanks for always being fun and sassy." I watch as it floats away.
"For Liam, thanks for being sweet."
"For Harry, thanks for always being happy."
"For Cody, thanks for being a pain in the butt." I laugh as I let it go.
"For Austin." I hand one to Isabel so she can send one for Gabby.
"For Brandon, thanks for being my rock." I let the tears slip.
"And for Zayn," the lump in my throat gets bigger and I put my hand to my mouth. "Thanks for everything."
"I love you." I whisper as I let the lantern go.
