Achelios led me to a map room. There were little wooden pieces scattered about the table. I looked at the different cities. Genova, Nigra and a dozen more. Along the walls were shelves of books most of the titles were in another language.
Sam entered the room and stood by my side examining the map as I did.
"He said something happened" Sam asked looking into my eyes in a way that nearly made my eyes hurt.
"It was just a memory that got to me" I said simply looking back at the map.
I fiddled with a small wood piece in a rough outline of horse when Achelios burst into the door with two people behind him.
One was the woman with light brown hair from the boat and another was a boy who was small and petite with messy honey blonde hair.
"Meet the crew of us who are going to embark on a journey to find a piece of lost history" Achleios said.
I glanced at Sam and he looked like he was seeing a ghost. I followed his gaze to the girl. He must've seen her at some point.
"I am Abigail call me Abby and hello Sam" she said.
The boy looked up startled, "Winston".
The group all looked at me and I knew why. Achelios had seen my powers to likely convince himself of what I could do.
"where do we start?" I asked.
"The object is a sword it basically extends your abelites" Abby said.
She was a loud and proud woman that was for sure. I wanted to have a sword like she did, but I suppose that wasn't until I had some training. Or until we got this magic one.
"We've traced a possible location here in the islands of death" Achelios said pointing to a spot on the map.
"Rather fitting name for our own lady of death" Abigail nearly interrupted.
"We will take a ship and a few men to go search the caves in a week, but before then we need to train you both as much as we can" Achleios said.
"Why a week?" Sam asked.
"The water doesn't go down until then to expose the caves" Abby said.
I was more paying attention to Winston. He had a few bottles of powder out and was busy examining them as though debating what they might do.
"We will need to fix that horror of a dress before you do anything" Abby said.
"About time" I replied which earned a smile from her.

Out in a wooded clearing I stood with Abigail. Sam was far away with the other two boys. I'd switched my dress out for a tunic and leggings. I had a new knife belt wrapped around my thigh.
"So you are Sam's... friend correct?" She asked.
"Now I am yes" I said.
She moved my arms to cover my face. I had a wood knife in my hand. I moved to strike her but she blocked me instantly.
"He is a charming man better company then most" she mused now looking at Sam.
"I suppose he is anyone else might be a careless brute" I added breathless.
I made to strike at her again and this time hit her. She smiled at my accomplishment.
"What happened when you killed the man?" she asked.
"I attacked three and killed one, purple light and I could feel things sense things" I said zoning out mildly.
The sight of the man being killed haunted me. It tugged at my heart. He was trying to kill me or hurt me.

I found myself seeing the vision over and over again in a dream. The man dying by the hands of my uncharted powers.
I screamed again and this time I woke up to the room being lit up with light. I could feel the energy coming from whatever they used to light up the place. It was now exploding everywhere in the empty space. A bright purple light like a neon sign. It stopped suddenly and I was back in the darkness.
I made my way out to the field where I felt for energy. I could feel what I now assumed was light and water. Humans made energy as did many living things and water was also an essential part of it.
That might've been why I had the nightmare it was the energy of his brain that still lived inside of me.
I waved my hands this time despite exhaustion I felt. I moved them out and back to me collecting energy and then I let it explode into the woods. It ripped through the grass and trees and wherever else I summoned it to go.
I felt my body weakened by the force it was taking to explode it out. When it left tears filled my eyes. They made paths down my cheeks and entered the ground. Smoke filled the sky above and I rubbed against a scar on my arm from falling years ago.
"Cyra" a gentle voice spoke from behind me.
It was Achelios I knew before turning to face him. He stood in his normal dark colors the only thing that distinguished his features was his pale skin and dark hair.
He walked towards me hesitantly as though I were a scared animal. How far off was that?
"I know you've already debated it but you had to, to save your life it was him or you and in survival we always chose us on instinct" he said simply.
"I know I will tell myself that until it makes sense" I said.
"I have never been able to feel it or see it as you have but I have felt the pain you do from it, it doesn't always get easier unless" he said staying a little ways away.
"I have broken before I will mend as I always have" I said not looking at him.
He seemed to be at a loss for words then. His muscles twitched slightly as if he meant to do something else but decided better.
"You seemed shocked when I said I only believed in me but I don't think you and me are very different in that aspect, anyways you need to rest" he said and with that he left going back inside.
