I slowly recovered on our ride back to the battle. I heard horses, shouts, and swords clanging. Amongst the men and blood I saw the general. I wanted to pummel him for what he'd done.

Achelios had sent Winston, Sam and I back towards the palace, but at the last second I dashed back into battle. Sam started to yell for me, but I kept going. I jumped off my horse at the edge of the battle and unleashed my sword. I helped a man on Evermon's army and saved his head.

I looked for blood red fabric with gold on it. That was Nigra's colors. At some point I got plowed over and I dropped my sword into the wet grass. I felt people topple on top of me and I assumed they were dead. I looked around seeing a group of Nigra men and that's when I unleashed my powers onto them. I stole their water and pulled it out through their throats. They collapsed in an instant. I saw other summoners among the armies as well. I also saw shadow men and wolves. I watched as the general of Nigra choked out ten men in one swipe.

When he got closer I ran into the battle and used my sword keeping my light hidden. I saw Achelios take down one of the shadow men and then another. I watched as General Cameron took Achelios into his grip.

That's when I felt myself explode. I suddenly wasn't inside my minds eye. I was everywhere and in the same place at the same time. I saw every man on Nigra's side. I grasped with my powers on every man around Cameron and I unleashed my powers. All of them burned up my purple light glowing through their eyes. The shadows vanished into nothing around him. His army started to fall back and run. The only one left standing was the general himself.

I fell to the ground as men ran from all directions. I crawled towards Achelios who was now on the ground panting. I felt someone grab me by my hair and I turned my sword and aimed for his throat. It was a shadow and he vanished and I dropped right by the general.

"You may have won the battle, but we will win the war, come with me or your brother dies obey me and he may live, and to sweeten the pot I will allow this...king to survive as well" Cameron said.

"No" I panted.

My body was shaking with so many reasons and emotions. I wasn't able to think or feel different.

"Fine I will take you anyways" he said.

He twisted his hands as I managed to stand. Achelios looked at me sympathetically as if he might be about to do something horrible. He got up and launched himself at Cameron and I watched as Cameron stabbed him through, but not before Achelios got his own hit. I think I might've screamed as I ran towards him. Just before I could reach out to hold him a dark shadow rolled over me. I could see nothing, but grey darkness. I tried to use my powers, but they seemed to be gone and out of reach.

Cameron let go of the circle and I recognized what was left of the camp. He shackled me again and hung me inside of a carriage made with iron bars. Among me were the other Grandrea I'd seen earlier.

The general only smiled at me before walking elsewhere and that is when I started to sob. I buried my face into my arm to keep from letting anyone see. Not that it mattered much since he was dead. Achelios was dead. Nothing could bring him back.

I never even got to hug him a last time. I never got to see his smile for a last time, or hear his chuckle. And for that I would give them hell. I would fight like it.

They didn't set up camp until the next morning. I stayed hanging in my place as a guard went around feeding and hydrating their prisoners. I spit in his face when he came by me.

He grumbled and turned away when Cameron walked by, "That one needs to stay alive".

The man then stuffed the bread into my mouth and forced me to chew it. Eventually I gave in and accepted it. Besides I had to fight them somehow.

I waited on that carriage as the army started moving again. I felt exhausted and dizzy, but if I fell asleep I'd die. That did conjure up and idea though. If I passed out they would have to take me down since I was so valuable.

I waited what felt like eons before I was so exhausted keeping my eyes open was a chore. I needed it to be mostly real or they would know. I started trying to mumble out help and then I allowed myself to go limp.

As expected someone shouted up and I heard general Cameron speaking though it was hard to make out. Someone cut me down and I collapsed onto the ground letting my exhaustion do it's work. Whoever cut me down hauled me down. I heard the soft sound of footsteps on grass and then there was shade and then I actually passed out.
