I ran into the battle field and had lost Cyra in the mix. Next thing I know people are running and I see a wall of darkness and there on the ground is Achelios and he's bleeding a lot. I kneel next to him and press my hands against his wounds.
He kept mumbling something, but I just kept pressing my hands to his wound. Nurses came onto the field and grabbed him and other men and women off the field. I looked around for Cyra and she was nowhere to be found. Not with the dead or the living.
I eventually after looking through the entire grass area went back inside to see a bunch of people crowding around Achelios. Winston hovered over him waving his hands and shaking his head. He had a green substance around his wound that was turning red with his blood.
"Where is she?" he mumbled.
"I think they have her" I said.
A bit later he passed out and I waited with Abby for the news of him recovering.
"Winston can heal?" I asked her.
"Yes he's the only one we've found" she said her eyes watery, but strong.
"I am sorry I couldn't prevent it and now Cyra's been taken, we need a plan, we need to.." I stopped realizing that was not what she needed to hear.
"I know Sam, but they won't kill her, that's what we all should be worried about" She said.
I had no words so I pulled her close and she started to sob against my chest. I held her close and allowed her to cry. We couldn't do much now.
"At least let me clean your injuries?" I said.
She nodded and I walked her across the room and grabbed a few wet cloths. I sat next to her on the floor and then gently wiped her cheeks. She had a gash to her forehead and blood and dirt everywhere. I wiped away the grim and dabbed at her injuries with a clean side.
She grabbed my hands gently prying the second one from my hands and doing the same for me. I wasn't even aware of my own face wounds, though they all felt like bruises. I had nearly died about twenty times. I might've been more of a hinderance.
The cool water felt nice against my skin. Her gentleness I could've sank into. I wanted to hold her and be held. I never wanted to go another day without seeing her. I feared though, that might not be possible.

We both fell asleep in the corner of the room and early in the morning we both popped up. Achelios was stable, but unconscious.
I told her to go change and bathe and I did the same. I sat there in the tub contemplating on a way to barge into a big kingdom. Not to mention one run by a creepy shadow man and his army of creeps.
Once I was out and in fresh clothes I walked back and found everyone speaking about how the king of Nigra was dead. Now his general was taking over until further notice.
"So, what do we do about Cyra?" Abby asked Winston.
"We can send a group out or wait for Achelios to wake up though it'll take weeks before I can heal him" he said.
"Then we will head out before then I was in the place so was Abby if we just rescue her then maybe we can buy time for a permanent thing or we head out there and end this for all" I said making Abby look at me.
"Sam, we need men willing to go and most are afraid after what happened they saw what he can do we would be on our own" She said.
"Then so be it, but he would want her safe, I want her safe, we don't know what they plan to do to her" I said.
I sat next to them and jumped when I heard Achelios say, "I'm coming with when you go".
"You can't" Abby said.
"Not if the herbs and Winston keep at it if they keep her for long not only will she be hurt, but our world could die and theirs" Achelios said.
Plus she said they had her family. If they had her then there would be a small chance at saving her. If they had my bestfriend we might all suffer.
"How about we get you back into training Sam?" Abby asked.
I nodded knowing I needed it if we were about to infiltrate the death star.
