I switched places with Achelios and walked down the where Cyra was. She was looking longingly at the space on the floor from her box. The both us had endured a great amount of adventure here and there was a part of me that realized perhaps this was only the begining.
"Hey tell me what's up?" I said sitting next to her.
"I just woke up that's all, honestly it's not as bad as the dead man" she said, "Men I suppose now".
"We are just trying to survive that's not our fault and besides people murder all the time back home it's not all different is it?" I said.
"When I touched that sword I felt it the energy of it like hot flames through my skin" She said.
"So it's real? it truly is the blade?" I said.
"Nigra can create monsters with power what do you think they'll create with more? if they got the sword" she said.
I glanced up at Achelios sailing, the wheel deathly still under his hands. I wasn't entirely fond of this man. He seemed to hide a lot, but Abby trusted him. I trusted Abby with a lot now she seemed good hearted.
"I only followed him because I was not made to do maids work I was forged for more here" she added.
"I know believe me your brother spoke much about you in good terms mostly" I said smiling.
Her face lit up and she smiled. It was the most real happy expression I had seen come from her since coming here.

On our last day of sailing I dwelled below deck. I sat on top of a barrel reading through a book of history in this place that was written in English or Gerch as they called it here. It was a horrible name that reminded me of a burp.
I looked up hearing soft steps coming down. Abby walked over to my barrel and hovered nearby. She'd changed into a new outfit that was a deep blue. This place seemed to be a mix of our world's past and present.
"My brother doesn't lie unless he has to" Abby said her eyes on mine.
Looking at her the words slipped my mouth, "You're beautiful".
She looked shocked for a moment but then she merely said, "You look beautiful as well".
Abby leaned closer to me the glow sphere casting a golden glow onto her skin and hair. I reached for her face and pulled her close and kissed her. It was slow and hesitant until she kissed me. Her lips tasted like sweet sugar and she smelled just the same. I felt heat run along my body from her touch alone. No one else in the world could've made me feel this way. Only her.
A creaky floorboard made her snap away quickly and we both panted and looked to the stairs to see the big coat of Achelios.
"We've landed at the port we need to leave quickly I suspect Ganders men are here looking for us" he said before trailing back up.

The kiss never left my mind even as we reached the main deck where the sky was dark. Perfect and crazy timing seemed to be how Achelios' brain worked.
We left on a ramp and were stopped by a dock watcher. He stopped Achelios and reached out his hand. Achelios looked rather annoyed for a moment before his expression shifted to be confused.
Achelios pretended to search his pockets and turned to Cyra, "Dear what did you do with the papers?".
"I gave them to you last" Cyra said looking at him in a way that could've made someone's heart bleed.
"oh my it seems we lost them" Achelios said pulling Cyra under his arm.
"Very well sir you may go on it's very late anyways and I am sure your wife is tired" the man replied.
"Indeed I am" Cyra smiled.
We all walked past the man with ease. On the streets we divided into pairs, I stuck by Cyra who had the gold sword strapped to her shoulder and hanging to her side. She no longer had her hand plastered to her side since it was healing.
More of their magic lights in the forms of lampposts stood lining many of the streets. Across the street walked Achelios and Abby. They were speaking about something which made Abby slap him teasingly on the shoulder. Achelios smiled then and it was quite startling to see him do so.
"At the edge of town he said there is a carriage waiting for us" Cyra whispered.
One moment there was darkness and silence and in the next a loud boom exploded in the middle of the street. Cyra and I were launched back and I closed my eyes as I tumbled down the sea bank. My ears were ringing loudly and everything seemed to move in slow motion for a moment.
I looked around for Cyra, but she wasn't near me at all. There was no sign of her except for a patch of uplifted dirt where she landed. She herself was gone and there were drag marks in the dirt. Her sword was laying next to me somehow. Someone took her I realized.
Achelios and Abby were at my side. Achelios had a gash somewhere on his head, blood was dripping down his face. I stood up and started running to the street. I looked around every way, but there was no sign of her red hair. The only people around were startled drunks and barmaids.
"They knew we would show up" Achelios cursed the smile long gone from his face.
"We need a plan then" Abby said.
"But first we get our bomb he's with a carriage at the end of town" He said.
He really had planned for all of this to happen hadn't he. My common sense was telling me this dude was truly a maniac. Though he was better then any other option.
