I woke up shivering from the morning cold. It had been a tough night for me to sleep since I'd been uncomfortable. I also had too much to think about. I had everything to think about.
Achelios was very close to me. He'd inched closer as the night went on. He looked peaceful as he slept. He always had a certain beauty to him. Something that made me want to agree with the maids.
Sam was awake already since he'd been on last watch. His eyes glued to me. I nearly jumped when I noticed him.
"Are you okay?" he asked.
"Sleepy and dreaming of coffee but alright" I said.
I instantly thought of the man I killed. I shook the feeling away and packed up my stuff. I had to do it after all.
"Me to honestly" he said.
The other two stirred awake and we kicked our fire evidence away and threw the packs onto our horses before we rushed off to another coastal village for the first object.

When we arrived at a big manor we all hoped down from our horses. A giant ship sat docked with huge sails. They had no marks they were only white or cream.
Achelios had sent Sam and Abby to go get more extra supplies. I looked at him worry painting my face.
"This is the town councils home he leads the choices and he's an old friend he will let us on board to find your weapon" he said.
"My weapon?" I asked.
"Here wait" he said grabbing my arm quickly and snapping his hand back to himself just as fast.
His gloved fingers reached and patted down my hair where it was undoubtedly messy. His gaze was locked onto my own making my heart beat flinch.
"You will be playing my fiancé just because he won't trust you otherwise" he said his eyes intense.
They looked like they might still murder me, but it was different from others, softer. Maybe that was just because of the angle though. Perhaps he looked at everyone the exact same way.
We walked up the steps to the giant wood house and he knocked on the door. I let out a small gasp when a maid opened the door. It's pretend so it'll be fine.
She bowed lightly to Achelios and then stepped away allowing us to walk inside. I resisted the urge to take my shoes off.
We followed the maid back into a big open room. It was an office with a deep colored desk and shelves that lined the walls. Somehow this one reminded me of home.
How was my family and brother?
I spent very little time thinking about them with so much going on and now in the random light of day it hit me. My mother probably sobbed for hours each day and my brother the same. Especially since his best friend was also gone.
"Evening Prince Achelios and?" an older man trailed off.
"My fiancé Cyra also known as the summoner" Achelios said.
I swallowed nervously and avoided the mans gaze. He seemed utterly amused by me like he was expecting me to grow into a new species.
"Interesting may I see?" he asked.
"She is still learning and unstable but with her we can bring peace" Achelios said.
It never occurred to me how much he cared for such things. I expected a man like him to relish in chaos as I learned to. Maybe that's always how it was learning to adapt.
"You bring her here and don't bother to prove it?" The man asked.
I looked at Achelios once his eyes telling me not to do what I had to. I waved my hands feeling the energy of water this time. It swirled into a little ball in the space between my hands.
"Is that evidence enough?" I asked.
"No it is not you could be anyone still many can use water" he said.
He looked annoyed like he wanted to stab us all in our faces where we stood. I instinctively backed up a step. My light had been a wavering ability that I rarely used. I did not trust that I could handle it.
"As you say" Achelios said turning away.
I followed him close afraid the other guy wanted to grab me and take me away. He seemed uninterested in me though.

"So what now?" Sam asked once we met up.
"We borrow his ship" Achelios said naturally.
"Borrow or steal?" Abby asked.
"I am in" I said.
It was just a ship after all. Sam and Abby both looked at me confused and wide eyed.
"Do we have a plan at least?" Sam asked.
"Indeed we do" Achleios said looking at me.
"We will take the ship while Abby causes a distraction for the guards and using your powers Cyra we can get out of the harbor quickly and unnoticed" Achelios said.

Really it was a bit more complicated then that. I crouched low with the two boys watching the guards by the manor front door. On cue Abby screamed and got their attention. They ran in the direction of her screams.
The three of us ran to the docks and got on the ramp. Above the ramp was group of four men waiting. They pointed guns at us instantly and we all raised our arms except of course Achelios.
"Stop you aren't allowed on this ship" one of them spoke through the darkness.
"Duck" Sam yelled and then shots fired as I rolled to the edge of the wall.
Sam had unguarded a man and held his gun while Achelios also held one. They were all at a stand still and I moved my hands from my dark corner. I summoned the water and threw it at the men. It was enough for all of them to loose weapons and engage in combat. Two of the men charged at me guns lost. Achelios and Sam had also lost their weapons.
I tried to punch one of them and the man grabbed my hand with ease. I tried my other hand and met the same fate. They grabbed my arms keeping them separate with ease even as I fought back. I was dragged to the edge of the boat. Rope was wrapped around my body as I landed a kick on one of them. He stumbled back only to come back. They spun me around now tied with my hands too far to use my magic. One of them grabbed my legs lifting me to the edge.
"Stop!" I said just before they let go and I plunged into the sea below.
Then I was remembering the person who'd started this. That figure who'd had purple powder. It made more sense, but who was it.
