When Sophie wakes up in the hotel in Germany, she rolls over and takes an extra few minutes to just appreciate the warmth of the bed. Since it was a back to back race weekend she had decided to just stay in Germany until the Tuesday before flying out to Budapest.
Whilst she was sitting in silence her phone started to ring. With a huff, Sophie throws her arm over on to the drawers at the side of the bed, answering without even looking to check the caller ID.
"Cameron I know I'm late but I'll start the workout in 20 minutes. I'm just up and my beds too warm to move." She complains lightly rubbing her eyes.
"Good morning to you too."
She pulls the phone away to see that it was actually Max phoning her, placing the phone back to her ear.
"Sorry Max, I thought you were Cameron since he hasn't received my stats yet. What can I do for you." She rubs her eyes before forcing herself to sit upright as to not fall back asleep.
"I've got a few of the drivers who are staying in Germany just now, and we're going to share a flight to Budapest. It leaves the airport tonight at 8 and we're going for some dinner before. Do you want to join?" He asks
She was supposed to fly out tonight anyway and at least this way she wouldn't be alone.
"Yeah I'm up for that. When and where is the dinner?"
"We're having dinner at the restaurant next to my hotel, I'll send you the address. If you want to come here for 4?"
"Sounds like a plan. Thanks Max, I'll see you then."

Sophie has the taxi driver drop her off outside the restaurant, passing him enough to cover the fair and a tip. "Danke." She smiles, jumping out and collecting her luggage from the boot, which thankfully wasn't a lot as she decided to pack light.
The restaurant wasn't overly busy but there were still a few full tables occupied.
"Hi there, do you have a reservation?" A waitress approached her with a clipboard.
"I think it's under my friends name, perhaps Verstappen?"
"No bother, if you would like to follow me. You can leave your luggage and my colleague will take it with the others." She smiles before guiding Sophie to a noisy table near the back.
Max had indeed rounded up a good few of the drivers. There was himself, Charles, Pierre, Alex, Lando, George, Carlos, Nico, Sebastian, and Danny. When the waitress guided her closer they all let out a cheer which gained the attention of a few people sitting nearby who just pulled annoyed faces, making Sophie laugh.
"Thank you." She smiles at the waitress who then leaves the girl alone with the group of rowdy boys. "Hey guys." She waves before making her way to the last empty seat which was between Pierre and Alex.
"You've scrubbed up nicely." Alex says as she sits down.
"Ever the gentleman Albon. You better be treating Lily this nicely otherwise we'll have problems." She jokes back.
"I do, I do." He smiles. "She would probably tell you otherwise."
"I'd like to think she would, I really like Lily." She smiles back at him before reaching for the menu in front of her, giving it a quick scan.
"What are you thinking of having?" Pierre leans over her menu and closer towards her.
"According to my meal plan I was supposed to be on a high chicken intake today, but seeing as it's a double race weekends I might just have a chicken pasta dish since I need to get my weight back up. What about you?" She looks up to the Frenchman.
