Penelope's POV

It's been two months since Josh attacked Maria and after she was released, Grayson and I made sure to help her from groceries and taking care of Liam to chores around the house.

Now, Liam likes to surprise us at our apartments to play, it's funny actually. One time, me and Grayson were starting to take our clothes off when he started knocking. We had to postpone our fun time.

"No Grayson, I'll go. We can go. I want to go to your cabin" He smiles so brightly and he lets go of my hands and start jumping up and down excitedly. "Fuck yeah! Finally!" He turns to me. I wash my hands and walk out the bathroom and look to see her already asleep. After I fucked her, I cleaned both of us up and cleaned her desk before carrying her to my car and drove home, I had to carry her inside and she was so embarrassed when some people in the lobby saw her.

I chuckled at the memory and walk to my side of the bed, getting in bed and I pull her to me. I kiss her head and smile at her soft features. So beautiful, and mine. I love this woman and I still can't believe she's mine.

I held back on my feelings for her for four years and waited and it all worked out in the end and I'm happy, so incredibly happy. I love her and I want to marry her someday soon if she'll have me. "I love you, Penelope Jones"
