Chapter 35

Penelope's POV

I'm sad it's our last night in the cabin. After we were done eating, we just bird watched and took a walk around the waterfall, we stayed out all day and then went back to the blanket and laid down to star gaze.  But that was practically two days ago, we're leaving tomorrow morning.

Grayson is in the kitchen preparing dinner while I'm in the mini library, I walk past a book but backtrack to take a closer look. "What the-babe! Why do you have this book here!" After a minute he comes in. "What book?" I hold up Punk 57.

"Oh I bought that book after I saw you reading it" My eyes widen and I blush. "Uhh did you, umm" I look away. How do I phrase this? "Read it? I haven't yet" I look back at him and sigh. "Good, don't" How raises an eyebrow. "Why? Was it a bad read?"

No it was an amazing read but I just don't want you reading the fucking sex scenes Grayson, especially the chapter he saw me reading. I really hope he forgot about that. "Yep, it was really bad" He smirks and walks to me.

"Bad girl, don't you know lying is bad? Misha didn't like lying and look what happened, he bullied Ryen. Though Ryen did have quite a reaction to his lip piercing, would you like it if I get a lip piercing?" I blush and look down.

He fucking read it! Ahhh fuck me! He read it! He saw the chapter I read, I was on chapter 11 when they had sex in Misha's truck. And him having a lip piercing? My god, he'd look so AHHHHH. I gulp and jolt out of my thoughts when a finger of Grayson's lifts my chin up to meet his eyes.

"It's okay sunshine, just teasing you" I blush but nod. He chuckles and presses a kiss to my cheek before walking to the door but pauses before leaving, turning to face me. "Also, don't think I forgot what chapter you were reading" I blush again and he smirks at me, winking and walking away. "I'm going to kill him one of these days"

"It was so nice to meet you Julian" I place my hand out for him to shake. "It was nice to find meet you as well and I don't do hand shakes, I hug" That's the only warning I get before I get pulled into a tight hug. I squeak and return his hug but look over Julian's shoulder to see Grayson giving me a thumps up, basically asking me I'm okay.

I mouth 'I can't breathe' His eyes widen and quickly approach. "Tío, let her breathe" I'm released and I can breathe properly again, giving Julian a small smile. "Ah perdón, I don't know my own strength sometimes" I laugh softly. "It's okay" Grayson leans down to my ear. "Go say bye to Rain and Diablo, I'll be with you in a moment" I nod and walk away towards the stables.

It take a few minutes but once I'm inside I go straight to her stall, well, not before giving Diablo a pat on his head. "Hey Rain, I'm sad I couldn't ride you this visit but definitely next time. All the four of us can go and we'll have so much fun next time and hopefully next time I come back, it'll be with a little one on the way"

Her head bobs and she walks forward towards me. I smile at her and give her soft scratches, pressing kisses on her head. "Hey bud" I jump at Grays voice, looking to my right I see Grayson petting Diablo's head while smiling at him before looking at me. "I also can't wait to have a little one on the way"

I open my eyes from my nap at the feel of soft kisses. I inhale deeply before stretching. I look to my right to see Grayson. "We're home sunshine" I nod before yawning. "I'll take you up baby" I shake my head. "Our stuff-" He kisses me softly before pulling away.

"Our stuff will be fine with one day in the car, but you need sleep. I've been tiring you enough the last couple days" I smile and hum. "Yes you have" He chuckles, unbuckling my seatbelt before placing his arms under me and lifting me in arms bridal style.

He closes the car door with his feet and walks to the elevator. "I know I ask this every time but-" He cuts me off. "No, you are not heavy" I smile and giggle a bit when he bends down to click the button. "I could've-"

"No, you just rest sunshine" I nod and snuggle closer to his neck. He's so comfortable. And I guess I was too comfortable because before I knew it, we're back on our level. "Where? My place or your place. "Your place Gray, honestly. I'm about to move a lot more of my stuff into your apartment" I just know he's smiling.

"That'll be great sunshine" I smile and I unlock his door when he bent down but I had snatched his keys. Finally, our bed. He sets me down gently. "Get some rest" I nod and sit up and take my bra off. Grayson kneels down and takes off my shoes. He grabs the bottom of my dress and lifts it off me. "Have a good sleep, my love" I smile and close my eyes when he kisses my forehead, laying down and falling asleep against his soft sheets.
