Chapter 36

Grayson's POV One month later

I groan as my alarm goes off, turning to my side and turning it off. I huff and turn back to my other side, pulling pen closer to me. She looks so cute sleeping. I kiss her forehead before pulling the sheets off me and getting up gently to not wake her. I do not want to wake her up at 5:30 am.

I gotta take a quick shower, put on my suit, make her breakfast and write her a note for her to read later. I still can't believe it's been a whole month since the cabin, we've really been trying for a baby, heh. I smirk. I can still hear her moans from last night.

I take my clothes off and dump them in the hamper, taking my towel with me to the bathroom and jump into the shower. I wonder if our baby will have her nose? Oh! Or her hair or eyes. She's definitely the most gorgeous out of us two. If someone told me a year ago that I would live the life of my dreams with the woman of my heart and dreams, I would've punched them and scoffed, claiming them to be mad.

I quickly finished the shower and dried myself up before wrapping my towel around my waist. I get out of the bathroom and walk to my closet and take out my suit. Placing all the pieces on, I grab my satchel, placing my computer and a folder in it with important documents and paperwork. I hear a soft moan and I look over to see her stretching.

I walk over to her and shush her. "Shh baby, sleep. I'm leaving for work, well after I cook breakfast for you" She shakes her head. "Just go to work, I'll eat later" I chuckle and lean down, kissing her forehead. "No you won't" She hums, smiling. "No I won't, you know I've been sick lately" I smile, kissing her forehead again.

"You know, it could be a sign of all our work to have a baby working" She smiles. "Maybe I'll have Cherry get me a pregnancy test later than" I grin down at her and nod. "Be sure to let me know, positive? Great! We'll have food to celebrate and then sex. Negative? More sex" She giggles and nods. "I'll make sure to notify you the results" I nod before moving to her lips and kissing her.

"So no breakfast?" She shakes her head. "I'll have it later" I nod and kiss her again. "I'll see you later sunshine, I love you" She strokes my cheek while smiling softly. "I love you, goodbye" I kiss her hand and get up, walking away, swiping my keys from the counter and walk to the door. "Go back to sleep pen!" I hear giggle as I open the door. "I will" I smile as I close the door.

Penelope's POV

I groan into the air, leaning my cheek against the toilet. "You done pukin' doll?" Cherry rubs my back and I nod. "I think I do need to get you a pregnancy test doll, you've been quite sick these past few days. You want me to go get some now?" I nod. "Could you? Please?" She nods and gets up.

"Imma go down to the pharmacy across the street, I'll be right back" I nod again and I hear her talking to someone but I don't pay attention. I tried to eat, like what Grayson told me to do and all I did was throw it up.

I hear footsteps come in and I look up seeing Lilly holding a glass of water. I smile and mutter a small 'thank you' and drink a little bit of to wash my mouth before spitting it back out into the toilet. I drink the rest of it and stand up, rubbing my stomach. "Jesus, if I am pregnant, I'm so killing Grayson for this. I hate being sick" Lilly laughs softly.

"I know, I have two kids and I always hated being sick. But hey, if you are, then you and Grayson get what you want. A baby" I smile at her before looking down. "Yea, you're right" I hear a knock and I look over to see Cherry holding a bag. I smile and she hands me the bag. "You just take it and we'll all be waiting for the news together" I nod and I take out the test. Cherry ushers Lilly out, I take the test out of the box and use the test.
