Chapter 12

Grayson's POV two days later

I groan as I get up, quickly grabbing my phone and turning my alarm off, seeing the time as 6:00am. "Don't wanna wake her this early, especially today" I quietly say to myself, getting up from bed, I yawn and stretch, grabbing a black shirt and sweatpants and throwing it on.

I walk to my closet on my side where there are blankets and pillows. I arrange the pillows in a half circle on my bed and place the blankets inside the half circle. I sigh as I grab a box from under my bed and open it, smiling softly at the sight of the plushies. I take some out and place them around the half circle. I put the rest back inside the box and put back under my bed.

I stand up and walk to my kitchen and open the cabinet and grabbing a bunch of her favorite chips. "Good thing I went shopping yesterday, gotta be prepared for today" I place the chips on the bed and go back to grab a few cookie packets and place them on the bed. "Plushies, pillows, blankets, snacks, what else? Ice cream!" I quickly walked to my freezer and open not, seeing no ice cream. "Shit" I groan softly and then smile. I grab my phone and text Cherry.

Me
'Cherry, this is Grayson, could you get cookies and cream ice cream for me? I'm setting everything up for Pen and I don't want
her to be alone today'

Cherry
'Hey Gray, sure thing, I can get it for ya, anything for my doll, I'll be over soon'

Me
'Thanks and my apartment number is 215, I'm right next to Pen's apartment'

Cherry
'Yeah I know hun, I know where Pen lives and she's told me that you live next to her and what number, so I'll be over soon'

Me
'Thanks, see you soon'

I sigh as I put my phone on the counter, and walk to my fridge and take out the fruit I bought yesterday, taking out a bowl and setting them inside the bowl, arranging them neatly around the bowl. I grab a cup and fill it up with water and set it next to the bowl, I place both items on a mini table and keep it on the counter.

I grab my phone to check the time. "7:00am, time to wake her up" I place my phone back down on the counter and walk out my door. Thankfully she gave me her spare key. I go to her door and unlocked it, I peek inside to see her sleeping, with her face twisted in a frown. She's remembering that night.

Penelope's POV

I jolt awake at the feel of someone's hand on me. I groan softly and look up to see Gray smile softly. "Hey sunshine, good morning" I yawn and nod. "Morning" He steps away from me. "I'm gonna be by the door, get dressed and we'll head into my apartment together" I smile and nod. "Thanks Gray" He smiles softly. "No problem sunshine" He walks away to stand by the door with his back facing me.

I get up and go to my drawer and opening it, taking out a pair of matching pjs. He doesn't know I got us matching pjs. I smile at my thought and put his pair of pjs down and put on my pair of pjs on and slipping my slippers on, closing the drawer. I grab his pair of pjs and look at my mirror to see how the pjs fit on me. I smile at myself. "Looking good" and I do, I'm wearing this black tank top with checkered black and red pants.

I walk over to to Gray and tap his shoulder. He turns around and smiles at me and looks at me up and down. "Looking good, sunshine" I giggle. "Thanks, and I got you a matching pair" I hold them up and he chuckles and grabs them. "Definitely putting this on as soon as we get into my apartment" I laugh slightly and he smiles down at me and sighs. "You ready to go?" I nod and he opens my door. "Wait hold on, not ready yet, gotta grab something"
