Chapter 43

Penelope's POV

I wake up to the feel of soft kisses on my cheek. I moan and stretch, slowly waking up. I turn my head to see Grayson smiling softly down at me. "Hey sunshine, I made breakfast, once you're semi-awake, come to the counter" He whispers, nodding my head, I rub my eyes and yawn.

I hear him chuckle before pressing a kiss to my cheek. "I love you sunshine" I smile and spread on the bed. "I love you" He smiles and spanks my thigh softly. "Don't think I forgot about last night" I blush. "I don't really remember much until we got home, was it because of what I did in bed?" He smirks. "Partially, but since you don't remember the club, I won't be too merciless with you" I sit up on the bed, the sheets sliding down my body to my waist, exposing my chest.

"Do we have time" I ask, purposely pushing my chest out, he licks his lips but shakes his head, still staring at my chest. "You gotta eat and meet with Cherry and help her get ready" I spring up from bed and rush to the closet. "Oh! I gotta get ready, I forgot! " I throw on black leggings and a white shirt. Oh my bra! I take off my shirt and turn around to see Gray holding my bra.

I quickly walk to him and try to take it. "Slow down sunshine, turn around" I huff and turn around, he lets me put my bra on by myself but he clips it on before bending down and kissing my shoulder. "You have time love, just slow down. I woke you a bit early so that you can get ready and eat without rushing to get to Amelia's house" I nod and lean against him.

"Okay" I turn around and kiss his cheek before pulling away and grabbing my shirt, putting it on. I walk to the kitchen and Grayson walks ahead of me to pull a chair out for me to sit. I smile and he helps me up the high chair before pushing me in closer to the counter. "Thank you thumper" He smiles and kisses my cheek. "You're welcome sunshine" He walks over to the pot that on the stove.

"How long have you been awake?" He smiles, taking out a plate. "For an hour, the majority of the time, I did spaghetti but before I did, I was just admiring you for awhile" I blush and my mouth waters when he places the spaghetti on my plate. He places it in front of me and slides the hot sauce to me. He knows me too well. I smile and put the hot sauce in the food and mix it in with Parmesan cheese. He gets himself a plate and serves himself, putting hot sauce in it and sitting down next to me.

I ring the doorbell for the fourth time. I have been waiting out here for ten minutes and I've called Cherry five times. Finally the door opens to reveal a tired Amelia. "Why are you here?" I raise my eyebrow. "The wedding?" Her eyes go wide and she gasps, she turns around and sprints upstairs and I hear her yelling at Cherry to wake up. I sigh and facepalm, going inside and closing the front door.

I go upstairs to see a frantic Cherry pacing, pulling out makeup and hair products. "I can't believe I overslept! And my head is pounding" I chuckle and walk to her and grab her shoulders. "Breathe, we have time, we don't want the bride to worry too much on her wedding day right?" She nods. I turn to Amelia. "Lilly will be here soon, so be on the look out" I turn to Cherry. "Sit down, I brought some ibuprofen for the hangover" She nods and sits down on the chair at the vanity.

I go downstairs and fill two cups with water and bring them up, handing one each to the girls. Once they grab it, I take the bottle from my pocket and take out two and hand out one each. "Thank you doll. What would I do without my maid of honour?" I scoff. "I didn't really do anything" Before Cherry can protest, the doorbell rings.

I go downstairs and open it to reveal Vicky. "Girl!" I close the door to a crack and peek my head out and Vicky laughs. "What are you doing here? It's bad luck to see each other!" She laughs nervously. "Just wanted to make sure she was okay after her night out last night" She holds up a bag of food. "Got her Chinese take out food but I didn't bring food for you and Amelia. Maybe I should've" She says the last one to herself. I laugh softly.

"I'm good and I'm sure Amelia is gonna be a bit upset but Cherry will just end up sharing, so I'll take that" I reach out to say it and she holds it away from me. "Oh, hold on. Is she okay?" I nod. "Gave her ibuprofen" Vicky nods and hands it to me. "Okay, see you later pen and tell Cherry that I'll see her at the aisle" I smile and nod. "See you later" She smiles and walks away to her car.

I close the door and walk upstairs, placing the food in front of her. "It was Vicky, wanted to feed you and check up on you" Cherry smiles and squeals. "I love her!" I smile and bump her shoulder. "She also told me to tell you that she'll see at the aisle" She smiles brightly and Amelia walks over. "wha- no food for us?" I laugh. "Jokes on you, I already ate" I boast to Amelia. Cherry just giggles. "I'll share, don't worry" Amelia smiles and the doorbell rings again.

I go downstairs again and hold the handle without opening it. Swear to god if it's Vicky, I'm going to kill her. I open the door to see Lilly. "Finally! Come on in Lills" She smiles and we walk upstairs together. "Who's ready to get married?" Lilly says with a smile and Cherry smiles brightly. "Me!" Lilly walks to Cherry and turns her to the vanity. "Then let's get you ready for your big day!"
