Episode 2: Closing In

Javier's POV...
I woke up to the sound of a ringing in my ears getting more and more faint every second. It had finally gone and I heard a gunshot. I saw a dead walker next to me. I started to rise up. "Hey, easy there." I heard in a male voice. I looked up and saw Clementine and Y/n were still standing. Thank god. "We chased them away." Clementine said. I got up. "Thank you." I told them. I looked at my nieces corpse. This isn't what should have happened. Mariana should have been the one burying me years in the future. "I already dug a hole." Clementine said. I carried Mariana to the whole and started shoveling the loose dirt onto her lifeless body. Then we heard the groaning sound of a muerto. We went over to where it was. I shot it and I saw it's neck. "Those guys that attacked us...they had this marking..." I said.
"Oh dear...oh, god..." I heard Clementine whisper. Clementine was pacing. "We know who they are." She told me.
"The New Frontier. They had us as their prisoner." Y/n said. "But we got out. Thats what matters." We looked around and saw they left a car behind. "Still not too late to stay with us." I told them.
"Come on." Clem said as we got in the car.

Clementine's POV...
We drove to Prescott, Y/n being behind the wheel this time. Javi ran inside as we stayed in the car. "What do you think?" He asked.
"I think AJ's a lost cause." I said. I let out a heavy sigh. He hugged me. I hugged my brother back. "Its okay, sis." He said. "I know. This is bad. But you know..."
"Lee and Kenny would want us to keep moving." I said, interrupting him.
"Yeah. Thats right." He said. "For now, we need to take some time to grieve. We should stick around for a bit." He told me. He was right. We needed to rest for a bit to grieve AJ. We left the vehicle and went inside of Prescott. After a while of us resting in Prescott, we heard Tripp yelling to Javi. We ran up to Tripp, Conrad, and Javi. "I thought you kicked their asses out." Conrad asked Tripp, referring to us. We saw a few vehicles coming with the New Frontier symbol on them. "Shit." I whispered. Three members of The New Frontier got out of a truck. "Knock knock! Anyone home?" We heard in the familiar voice of Badger. A bald lunatic in red and black clothes. Behind him were Max, Lonnie, and around 4 other people. "I wish we hadn't had to come all the way out here, but unfortunately... Badger here says you attacked his men!" Max said.
"Bullshit! They shot first! They killed my niece! Shot a woman in cold blood!" Javi yelled.
"How many of my friends died because of you, huh?!" Badger asked.
"Sounds like a bunch of he-said, she-said shit to me." Max said.
"What the fuck do you want? An apology?" Tripp asked.
"What i really want -- is for my dead buddies to be alive again. But i don't think thats too likely, is it?" Badger asked, readying his gun.
"He needs to come with us. Answer to justice, accept his punishment." Max said. They wanted Javi. "Or else what? What are you gonna do?" Javi asked.
"Fact of the matter is, you stole from us... you killed some of us. Give it up now and get down here!" Max demanded.
"I think they need a little incentive." Badger said. One of them with a bandana around their mouth brought someone out of the truck.
"Francine!" Conrad shouted. We all got ready to shoot. "You hurt her, I'll kill you!!"
"You didn't tell me you had a hostage." Max said as they held Francine's fingers out with a pair of wire cutters. "You hurt her, and I'll hurt you back worse than you could ever imagine!" Javi told them. They closed the cutters, slicing one of Francine's fingers off. "Now get your ass down here, or I cut off the rest of 'em!" Badger shouted.
"What the hell are you doing? This isn't what was agreed on." Max said. It sounded like he was trying to stop Badger. "Javi. Please, man. Just go with him. You got to. He'll kill Francine!" Conrad begged.
"No ones giving in to them!" Tripp said.
"Nope. We gotta stay up here." Y/n said.
"We should start shooting." I said.
"Its cool. I'm coming down." Javi said. I was surprised. "They'll kill him. Once Francine is free, we shoot them." Y/n whispered.
"That's what i was planning." I told my brother. Javi went down. One of them held Javi's arms and one pointed a pistol at him. I shot the one with the pistol, and Y/n shot the one holding Javi. Javi grabbed the cutters and stabbed another in the neck. "Francine! Run!" Javi yelled as he ran in the gate. Francine ran too, but Badger shot her in the back. "FRANCINE!" Conrad opened fire. Badger and Max hid while one of them ran to a truck and rammed the gate.

So to save a little time, this scene is where Prescott falls. But the main characters Javi, Clementine, Y/n, Tripp, Kate, Conrad, Eleanor, and Gabe are fine.
