03|| 𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐏𝐎𝐖𝐄𝐑𝐒?!

aleiya looked at sacks in shock. "..superpowers?" was all she said. sacks nodded and then looked towards the shattered glass knowing this would take forever to clean up.

"what do you mean superpowers?" aleiya asked her millionth question of the day.

"well aleiya, i was going to wait until you were older but i guess now is a good time to tell you. when i brought you here i was looking for new test subjects since i had lost my previous ones in a lab fire. i didn't expect the mutagen to work on you since the old test subjects were turtles and since you were a human, i thought nothing would happen. after your sixth birthday, i almost gave up but when i tested your blood, it had finally mixed the right way with the mutagen."

"i did more testing and found out that yes, you would have super powers but they would only start to work develop in your teen years. late teen years. so that's why i kept you here, because once your powers had finally arrived i could use your blood, make more of the mutagen and use it to my advantage"

aleiya stood there in shock. she hadn't a clue what to say to all of this new information.

"so you lied to me, took my childhood from me and had me thinking i was sick? what the fuck?!" aleiya started to grow angry.

"well i didn't think the mu-" sacks started but was thrown into the wall by aleiyas new telekineses. sacks slowly lifted himself from the ground and pressed a red button on the wall.

loud alarms went off and guards rushed in grabbing onto aleiya, but she was to fast. quickly and out of reflex, aleiya sent the guards flying across the room with her telekinesis. aleiya then ran out of the room in hope to find an exit.

"GET HER!" aleiya heard sacks yell as she continued to sprint down the long hallway. panic started to emerge from all over the lab, people spilling out of their lab rooms to see what all the commotion was whilst flashing lights and loud alarms went off through the building.

"STOP THAT GIRL!!" aleiya heard another guard yell from down the hall. aleiya looked around and saw a nearby window. aleiya rose her hand and used her powers to break through, but this time fire came out.

aleiya quickly climbed out of the window and began to sprint down the street. guards and scientists following behind no matter how many turns she took, they were still on her back.

"shit shit shit" aleiya whispered as she was starting to run out of breath. she knew she wouldn't be able to run for much longer or she would literally pass out, she was just hoping she would eventually outrun these people.

running and running felt like hours although it had only been minutes but aleiya had finally lost the guards and scientists. she ran into a nearby ally and hid behind a dumpster to catch her breath.

aleiya sunk to the ground and was breathing heavy, so many thoughts rushed through her mind at once. was she finally free? what would having super powers be like? would she actually be able to escape?

"OVER HERE!" a loud voice was heard, snapping aleiya out of her thoughts. she jerked her head around and none other than eric sacks and ten to fifteen guards stood outside of the ally.

"we know your in there" sacks taunted in a sing-song voice. aleiya was frozen in fear, she couldn't go back to the lab and let this plan work. she knew she couldn't.

"please just- just go away i don't want to hurt anyone" aleiya pleaded whilst still on the other side of the dumpster.

gunshots were then heard, bullets being shot through the dumpster causing aleiya to jump and cover her ears. aleiya then turned around and levitated the dumpster with her telekinesis and threw it at the guards, taking more than half of them out.

"shit" aleiya gasped at the now lifeless bodies on the ground. she looked up to sacks who had an evil look in his eyes as he slowly made his way to her.

"please don't come near me" aleiya begged but accidentally let out fire from her hands that just missed sacks head.

"your a danger to this town aleiya, one wrong move and you could kill everybody" sacks said in an evil tone. he was right, aleiya didn't know how to work her new powers and she knew bad things would happen if she hurt anyone.

"i-i'm sorry for hurting the guards but please just let me go" aleiya continued to back up until her back hit the wall. she was trapped.

more guards came out of nowhere behind sacks; they must've been hiding somewhere. they all pointed their guns at her and screamed at her to step forward but aleiya was frozen in fear.

that was until they began to be knocked out, a figure fought them all without missing a beat. aleiya watched in amazement as this figure took them down so easy.

now that the guards were all down, the figure looked at sacks with their back to aleiya when she noticed something on their back. did they..have a shell?!

"get lost" a deep brooklyn voice boomed through the ally and sacks ran into the darkness of the night. as soon as sacks was gone, the figure ran up the nearby building and also vanished without leaving a trace or saying a word.

whoever it was, just saved aleiyas life.
