"master, i have news on the girl. her name is aleiya mendoza, she's around 5'6, she has curly brown hair and light brown eyes. she's light skin and has immaculate powers that will do great in taking down this city." the voice of a female spoke.

"very well. i want the girl, where does her location lie?" the voice of none other than shredder spoke.

"her location is unknown.. ever since she escaped from the sacks estate i was unable to track her. but i don't think she's the only mutant around here" the voice paused. "four.. things. six or seven foot, they aren't human. there some other species but they saved aleiya and i think if we're able to find them and get the mutagen in their blood and mix it with the mutagen in aleiyas blood, we could take over the world."

"i see. i want you to find her and those turtles. dead or alive, i do not care. bring them here" shredder instructed and the female nodded. "inform karai about this as well as the rest of the footclan. work together to destroy them all. i want all five of them dead by the time we're done getting their blood"

"hai masuta" the female bowed as she exited the room.

"raph you cannot be serious right now." leo spoke as he eyed his brother. "what is wrong with you?!"

"oh what you believe her? you really think some fake ghost is tryna kill her and now it's magically tryna kill us?!" raph shot back as leo pinched the bridge of his nose in annoyance.

"so you really believe aleiya is making all of this up? she woke up terrified thinking she was going to die raphael! she's terrified out of her mind and you think she's making this up? what the actual hell is your problem with this girl? why do you hate her so much?" leo questioned as he looked raph in the eye.

raph didn't know what to say. he didn't hate aleiya, and seeing her wake up so scared broke his heart. he wanted to help her but he didn't know how. he really cared for her but he didn't know how to express it..

every time he saw her face or heard her voice or even heard her name his heart raced. it was a weird feeling that he had never felt before.. he wanted to hate it but he just couldn't.

he wanted to hate her.. but he couldn't.

"and your really going that low to think she's-"

"alright!!" raph shouted as he interrupted leo. he didn't even realize he was still talking.. he must've gotten lost in his thoughts.

"alright leo, i get it." raph continued but he didn't make eye contact with his brother. he knew he was in the wrong but it was so hard for him to admit it.

"just tell me what your problem with her is" leo simply said. "tell me why you hate her so much"

"i don't hate her.."

"then why do you think she's lying?!"

"i don't know!!" raph shouted once more. "i don't know what to think of her"

leo shook his head. "no raph, you think something of her and you know what it is. you just don't wanna say it"

raph didn't say anything. he just gave leo a look of annoyance and irritation before leaving the room.

but leo knew how raph truly felt about aleiya. leo knew that when raph said he didn't like her, he was lying. he could tell that every time raph saw aleiya his face lit up and his eyes never left her.

his brother was in love.

rather he wanted to admit it or not.
