THE TURTLES AND ALEIYA, returned to the manhole just above the sewer that the turtles called home. it was nighttime so the turtles made sure not to be seen by any humans.

"now aleiya uh.. we decided that it would be safest if you stay with us rather than going back to your home since the police and pretty much the whole city is after you at the moment" leo explained and aleiya nodded, but her heart dropped a little.

the whole city?

"yea girl it'll be so fun we can stay up late and eat snacks, watch scary movies, and bother raph!" mikey smiled as he was still holding onto aleiya.

"but we do have to warn you.. we do live in a sewer and we have a rat father" donnie warned and seemed a little embarrassed at the fact that they lived in a sewer.

"oh no it's fine, i've grown up smelling nothing but strong smelling chemicals that basically burn your nose off so it's probably not that bad" aleiya shrugged and smiled at tallest turtle.

mikey grabbed back onto aleiya and the turtles made their way back down the sewer.

"please keep your arms and legs inside the shell at all times" mikey said causing aleiya to giggle.

when the five mutants finally made it to the lair, leo led them inside and aleiya looked around in amazement. for having a home in the sewer, this was pretty cool. it was like an underground water park.

"this is actually so cool" aleiya beamed and mikey jumped in front of her.

"really? you think our home is cool?!" mikey smiled and aleiya nodded whilst smiling.

"check this out!" mikey said as he grabbed onto aleiyas arm and led her to an indoor skate rink.

"oh my gosh this is awesome, did you make this?" aleiya asked as she looked to mikey and he happily nodded.

"i did, well donnie helped a little but i did most of it!" mikey smiled, happy that he finally had a friend that didn't judge him outside of his brothers.

"hey aleiya, sorry to cut this short but would you mind if i do a quick checkup on you just to make sure your all good?" donnie asked as he walked up to aleiya and mikey and aleiya nodded.

"yea sure, c'mon mikey" aleiya smiled and nodded to mikey to go with them.

"oh my gosh this is so cool" aleiya said as she looked around donnie's lab. "did you build this yourself?"

"yea i did" donnie smiled, happy that someone was appreciating his work. "you like it?"

"yea! you seriously built this at the age of 15? your a real genius" aleiya said and donnie looked down and smiled.

"thanks aleiya"

"see, isn't she so nice" mikey said as he bounced in his seat while holding a soda.

"yes she is, and mikey get that drink out of my lab last time you spilled it all over my computer and i had to spend five hours fixing it" donnie said while going into one of his drawers to look for his first aid kit.

"dude that wasn't even my fault raph, scared me" mikey defended.

"don't blame me for your dumbass self" raph said as he walked into the lab holding one of his weights.

"don i need ya to fix this i accidentally broke it" raph said as he sat the weight down on donnie's table.

"and how did you break it raph?" donnie asked, not looking up.

"..i got pissed and threw it"

"of course you did" donnie said unamused. "i'll fix it tomorrow and this is the last time i'm fixing one of your things because you don't know how to not chuck stuff across the room"

"yea yea" raph rolled his eyes as he left the lab.

when donnie was finished with aleiyas checkup and leaned that she was fine, he started putting everything away.

"hey lay lay wanna watch a movie and eat a bunch of snacks like i said earlier?" mikey offered.

"yea sure" aleiya nodded.

"remember mikey, she still- did you seriously just spill your soda?" donnie said as he looked down to mikey's soda that was now on the floor. he must've knocked it down with his elbow.

"uh.."

"out." donnie pointed to the door and mikey ran outside of the lab before he could throw anything at him.

"thanks again donnie" aleiya said before she got up.

"anytime" donnie smiled

mikey and aleiya were playing the hundredth round of their favorite video game, grand theft auto and were really enjoying the time they spent together.

"bam! i smoked your ass again girl!" mikey cheered as he jumped on the couch.

"damn, you really are good" aleiya laughed as they did their handshake. even though they only started to get close for a few hours, the two felt like they had been best friends forever.

"did you know your the first actual person we ever met that didn't judge us by our looks?" mikey asked as he looked at aleiya.

"i am?"

"yea! well technically your the only person we know, but we know that anyone else would judge us by the way we look" mikey shrugged.

aleiya felt bad that mikey and his brothers felt that way. she felt even more bad that he wasn't effected by it, which probably meant he knew the world would judge him only because of his looks.

sure, meeting four six or seven foot ninja turtles wasn't your everyday activity but these guys were super sweet and brave.

"well i'm happy i got the honor of meeting you guys" aleiya smiled.

"me too!"

aleiya truly did feel happy that she met the turtles. she was finally safe in a free place away from the lab, this felt like a dream come true.
