27|| 𝐒𝐎 𝐌𝐔𝐂𝐇 𝐀𝐍𝐗𝐈𝐄𝐓𝐘

RAPHAEL walked up to aleiya and pulled her aside from his brothers to calm her down.

"you okay? what happened?" he asked as he faced her.

"the demon raph- it- it was in the moon and it said it would..kill me" aleiya explained with a shaky and fear filled voice.

"it was in the moon?" raph questioned as he looked up at the moon, then back at aleiya in confusion.

"you guys can't see it..that's what it's trying to do, it's trying to make me think i'm crazy..." aleiya trailed off as she looked down.

"it's not real aleiya, it's not gonna hurt ya, i'll- we will make sure it don't" raph reassured her as he placed a hand on her shoulder.

aleiya couldn't help but notice how soft his hand felt.. it actually made her calm down a little. butterfly's began to fly around in her stomach at this new contact but she wasn't complaining.

aleiya took a deep breath. "thank you" she spoke in a soft tone as she looked back up to raph.

"your welcome" raph said "c'mon, my brothers went home already"

"okay"

raph and aleiya made their way back to the sewers by jumping the roofs— or in aleiyas casw flying.

as the two mutants walked through the sewer tunnels aleiya couldn't help but notice how raphs behavior changed... he was finally warming up to her.

"so uh.." aleiya started. "how long have you guys been training?"

"since we were young.. really young" raph responded. "splinter taught us everything we know while being a father to us"

aleiya nods. "he seems like an amazing father, you guys are lucky"

"yeah, we are..."

a dead silence fell upon the two again.

"what's your favorite animal?" aleiya asked.

"what? you tryna take me to a petting zoo or something?" raph questioned as he looked down at aleiya.

"nooo" aleiya laughed. "mine is a turtle"

"ew.. you are aware mikey is a turtle right?" raph said as they made a left turn.

"raphael" aleiya laughed again. "i think there.. really cute"

"really? you think turtles are cute?"

"yeah.. so do you think splinter will be mad that we're out this late?" aleiya asked.

"nah... as long as he don't find out" raph said as they met up with his brothers. "is he here?" he asked.

"nah man.. heyyy aleiya!!" mikey responded as he said in a loud-ish whisper tone.

"shhh!!" leo shushed as he turned to them. "if masher splinter catches us he'll send us back to the ha'shi!"

"i ain't going back to the ha'shi" raph whispered back as he put his weapons away.

aleiya hadn't been to the ha'shi before but she knew it was where masher splinter would punish the turtles when they did something bad.

aleiya never wanted to go there..

"every time where in the ha'shi it's because of you"
leo accused raph as he pushed his shoulder.

"well bro, you won't have to worry about me dragging you down there anymore" raph said as he push leo's face back.

"wait what's that supposed to mean?" mikey asked as he got in raphs face.

"means i'm going out on my own, first change i get" raph responded.

"how are we gonna finish our hip hop christmas album bro??" mikey question as he moved closer to raphs face.

"yeah raph!! your the hype man!" aleiya said as she walked up to them.

raph shushed them both, causing leo to shush him then donnie shushed them causing them
all to start shushing each other.

"you spit in my eye—" raph whispered as he pushed mikey back to shush donnie but leo pulled raphs shoulder back.

"shh! he's not going anywhere, we all stick together" leo finally whispered to aleiya and mikey.

"sorry i spit in your eye bro" mikey apologized causing raph to give him a "shut up" look.

"guys, guys!" donnie finally spoke up as a light flashed on...

"we have a bogie.."
