Sixteen-year-old Aamaira Coleman sat silently as she watches Sika's fingers move expertly through her head. So far she looked great. The three small cornrows looked awesome as Sika created a T in her head. It was a simple style, two across the front — with each going from the center of her head down to each of her ears respectively — and one cornrow in the middle of her head from the front to the back. To make the style interesting Sika went ahead with creating jumbo bantu knots with triangular parts separating each. The door to the trailer swings open and Alice Kang senior operations marketing manager waltz in.

"Just checking to ensure you guys are okay." She says.

Sika sighs as she wraps around the last plait to create the Bantu knot. "How long has Aamaira been a trainee at YG Entertainment?" She spoke calmly.

Anna looks at Sika and laughs. It seemed forced. The way, Anna's, face looked constricted Aamaira could tell the petite Asian woman was uncomfortable.  "A couple of years now," she waves her hand as if Sika was not making any sense.

Sika face was void of emotions, but her eyes held a fierce ferosity. "And in all those years, what were the chances of you knowing she would debut?"

"Well seeing that she kept surpassing all expectations, and she has never failed an assessment her chances were pretty high." She forces a laugh again. "Sika you know this."

Anna had a 'You were there!' attitude in her tone.

Aamaira watches both the women's reflections in the mirror. Anna's stance was becoming defensive while Sika looked more resigned. Like she was over this conversation before it even started.

"I hope you already have plans to get this morning's altercation sorted," Sika says.

Aamaira's eyes comically widen as she read between the lines. Oh, she thinks, that's what this is about.

"I've already spoken to the staff —"

"Spoken?" Sika cuts her off. "That employee was quite dismissive towards the idol earlier. Her actions delayed the shoot. And quite frankly it seems she had lied to get the job. Or is it she wanted to do what was required on a non-Asian..."

Sika spoke calmly, never once while speaking did she raise her voice. But her tone, which was as hard as granite, got her point across.

Anna's features immediately changed to looking abashed. "Sika if you had let me finish, you would know I spoke with the young woman and personally dismissed her. I'm actually here now to thank you for stepping in and doing this." Her eyes shift to Aamaira and immediately soften. "Aamaira, how are feeling?"

"I'm okay," Aamaira says. And she was. Being a trainee at YG Entertainment within the past umpteenth years had somewhat made her blasé towards many blatantly racist or even prejudiced behaviors.

"I'm sorry about this morning. " She says. To her credit, she at least sounds ashamed. As well as apologetic.

"It's okay." Aamaira tries to soothe her. Even though she had no reason to.

Anna shakes her head. "No, it's not okay. My actions of employing that woman affected you as well as today's production. In my rush of getting all of this together last minute, my errors resulted in that obscene woman having contact with you my client and I'm sorry that happen. I promise to have everything fixed as you won't experience this from another employee."
