One of the dopest things about the YG Entertainment building was the fact that the elevators did not play boring elevator music. In fact, it had a strict rotation of its groups' catalog on replay daily. Like now, Aamaira was vibing to her own group's song as she rode to her group's practice room. She felt absolutely great pleasure whenever she heard Luvstruck's song being played. And if she was being honest things like this were a stroke to her ego.
As she walked out of the elevator, she removed her headphones from her neck. Rolling her neck, she stifles a yawn as she walks into the practice room. The room was already brightly lit, with only one sole occupant. Aamaira smiled as her gaze landed on the person. The one woman she expected to be in the room.
"Morning, Liz." She says.
"Morning, Kondii." Lalisa murmurs. Her voice was low as she looked up at Aamaira through hooded eyes with a grin gracing her lips. as she put her phone aside. The older woman offers Aamaira a type of smile that can only be described as lazy, but still heartwarming.
Kondii. There was just something about that word. No matter how many times Aamaira heard it, it still sent her heart into overdrive. Biting her bottom lip Aamaira drops her bag. Very swiftly she pulled off the grey hoodie she wore, revealing the crisp, round-neck white crop top she was wearing underneath. Exposing her midriffs and her very inie type of navel. Taking a seat on the floor in the comfy, grey baggy lounge pants, sweatpants, she wore Aamaira and traded her Adidas sneakers for a pair of open-toe lace-up mesh stilettos, whose heels were like four inches in height.
Feeling the strong sense of someone watching her, Aamaira looks up and catches Lalisa gazing steadily at her in the mirror.
Frowning, she asks in confusion. "What?" She then laughs a bit nervously.
Lalisa shrugs in response. "Hmm," she hums as she stands.
"What is it?" Aamaira asks as she stands.
"I'm trying to figure out if it's just me or are you glowing?'
Aamaira smiles as she looks at Lalisa. "Really, that's why you're staring?"
"Huh-uh!" Lalisa's head reminded Aamaira of a bobblehead doll as she jolts her head up and down as she nods.
"I've been drinking more water, believe it or not."
As Aamaira spoke Lalisa got up from where she was and moved over to her. She moved so fast that her actions caught Aamaira off guard. Lalisa then grabs a hold of Aamaira's chin as she takes a long good look on her face.
"Hmm, nah." She says in English before switching back to Korean. "That's not the only reason. I'll figure it out though."
Aamaira chuckles then, "Trust me, there is no reason for you to go Sherlock on me."
"I didn't think there was, but call me nosy."
"Aren't you more curious about why I asked you to be here?"
At that Lalisa smirks as she runs her fingers through her bangs, pushing all the hair out of her face. "I'm sure, you'll get to that eventually."
Has her forehead always been that big? Aamaira wonders. She smiles then, finding Lalisa's forehead to be cute. Adorable even. Was that weird? Aamaira wasn't even attracted to foreheads, but she was doting on the look of Lalisa's exposed forehead.
