UNABLE TO SAY NO

"It seems like lately you've been a good girl."

"It's effective to attend a Catholic school,"

"Your grandma was right, all you need is Jesus."

"Or is it because of someone?"

"Ohh, our baby already likes someone?"

"Who is the lucky guy, sweetheart?"

"Oh, I mean. . . Who is the lucky girl?"

"Huang."

"Momma—

"I've never seen you like this before, does that girl really have that much of an effect on you?"

"You were the same way when you met me, Huang, so stop making fun of your daughter."

"The reason Tzuyu is like this is because you, Lin, you are so full of yourself."

"Mom, Momma. I'm going to be late."

"Since I don't have a work, I'll pick you up later on."Huang said

"I have a car."

"Yet it's broken."

"It's always been like that."Tzuyu whined

"Yeah, because we don't want to put you in danger. I swear, as soon as you turn 18 we'll buy you a new car."

"17 please."

"Fine."

"Huang, you're always spoiling your daughter."

"But it's not just me, though."

"Yes, both of you are."Lin's mother and Tzuyu's grandmother arrived

"Grandma!"Tzuyu yelled rushing over to her and kissed her cheek,
"I'm going now. Bye-bye!"she said as she threw her hands in the air

"I did well on the test."

"Can I see?"

Tzuyu pushed her test paper in front of Sana's face since she was so excited about it.

"This just goes to show how awesome I am."

"Big head."

"Would you like an ice cream after school? My treat."

"I don't—"

When Sana saw the glimpse of the taller girl's hopeful face, her arguments came to an abrupt end. She was suddenly powerless and unable to refuse.

When did all of this begin?

She has no idea. Even she is unable to comprehend.

"Fine."

With that face, who could possibly refuse?

No one.

"Don't you want a boyfriend?"

"Not at all?"the response was more of a question than an answer,
"I've thought about that, but I'm not worried about it."Sana shrugs

"I believe it would be nice if you had another person with whom you could be open with."

"I have Jihyo, Mina, Jeongyeon, Chaeyoung, Miyeon— and you."

"I didn't mean to imply that. I meant in a romantic way."

"That sounds great, I guess."Sana admitted while eating her ice-cream
"Would it be good in real life too, as it seemed to be in the books and movies?"she wondered

"No doubt! Don't you think so?"

"I couldn't say for sure."Sana told Tzuyu honestly
"Well, not that I am aware of, anyway, but I haven't experienced anything like what they portray in movies."she uttured

"You most likely have, but you're either unaware of it or too stubborn to believe it."

"Pfft. I don't think so."

"Sana."

"Mama!"

"Oh, Hi Mrs. Minatozaki."Tzuyu bowed and greeted Mrs. Minatozaki with a big grin.

"Hi there, Tzuyu. As much as I'd like to leave Sana here, we have to leave right now."

"It's actually okay, Mrs. Minatozaki, there will be another opportunity for that, and my mother is already on her way— oh wait, she's already here."

Mrs. Minatozaki's eyes then went on the door, and Tzuyu's mother, who had just arrived, met her eyes.

Sana and Tzuyu exchanged confused looks with each other, not knowing what to do.

Tzuyu's mother quickly ended that when she broke the staring session.
