Bella turned towards Calum and stared into his dark brown eyes. "Calum no it's..."
Calum interrupted Bella. "No Bella stop. Why would you do this?" Tears were now flying out of both Bella and Calum's eyes.
"Calum you don't understand." Bella took a deep breath. She started to get prepared to tell Calum the truth, but he interrupted her again.
"It's me isn't it? I'm sorry Bella. It's all my fault." Calum's hand darted up to his face and he wiped away the clear tears that lay on his tan skin.
"No Calum it's not you!" Bella cried and tried her best to hold back her tears but it wasn't worth it.
"Then who is it." Calum's body filled with anger and his eyes concentrated on Bella's.
Bella hesitated and she bit her lip before the name spilled out of her mouth. "Michael." Bella closed her eyes tight for a second and then opened them slowly.
"Why didn't you tell me?" Calum's voice softened.
"Michael frightens me. I know I can trust you but I didn't think it was necessary to bring you into this." Bella bent her head downward and closed her eyes to hold the tears back.
"You should've told me. You know that I've been through the same thing. You know that I self harmed and tried to kill myself. I could've helped you." Calum raised his voice and got up from the bed.
"I'm sorry." Bella coughed.
"So you would've just kept this secret from me?" Calum shook his head. "I really thought we had something Bella. I thought that you were special. There's something about you. I'm sorry but if you can't trust me than I don't want to be in a relationship." Calum continued.
"So are you breaking up with me?" Bella picked up her head.
"I guess I am." Calum whispered and his voice cracked.
"I love you." Bella spoke as she quietly escaped from the covers. She slipped on her clothing and grabbed everything she brought.
Bella faced the floor and quickly made her way past Calum and out of his bedroom. She walked through the hallway and then sprinted down the stairs.
"Goodbye." Bella yelled over to Calum's father in the living room. She tried not to make it obvious that she was upset
"See you soon!" He spoke and added a friendly wave.
Bella exited the front door and walked down the front steps. Bella thought she was alone until she heard a noise from behind her.
Bella spun around and locked eyes with Calum. She froze and then scrunched her eyebrows once she realized who was standing in front of her. "Why are you following me?" Bella asked.
"I still care about you." Calum spoke and continued to walk towards Bella's house. He stayed by Bella's side and didn't let his eyes leave her.
A million thought gathered in Bella's head. "Okay he cares about me. Why is he coming home with me?" Bella thought to herself.
Calum flew to the door and held it open for Bella. "Thank you." Bella whispered.
"Hello! It's so nice to see you again!" Calum greeted Bella's mom. Then Calum followed Bella up the stairs and into her room.
Bella closed her bedroom door and then turned around. "Can you stop following me everywhere!" Bella yelled.
Calum didn't reply. Bella rolled her eyes and stumbled around her room doing nothing. Calum watched her slip a clear bag into her pocket. "I'm going to go to the bathroom." Bella sighed.
"No you're not." Calum shouted.
"You can't tell me what to do." Bella screamed and sprinted to the door.
Before she could twist the door knob, Calum's muscular arms scooped her up. He pulled the plastic bag out of her back pocket and put it into one of his pockets.
"You can't do that." Bella told him. Calum grinned and kissed her cheek. He threw her onto the bed and climbed in with her.
"What did Michael do to you?" Calum questioned. His face lost all emotion. Calum had caught Bella with Michael but he thought that they had a relationship. He wasn't actually aware with what was really happening.
"He beat me." Bella stared off.
"Why the fuck didn't you tell me?" Calum's body filled with pain and hurt.
"Calum you are the only person that has stayed with me. I love you so much. I just didn't want to talk about it." Bella wanted Calum to understand.
"I love you more than I've ever loved anyone. You are my world." Calum cried.
"Can we talk more about this tomorrow? I'm exhausted." Bella asked.
"Okay." Calum sighed. They both stayed in their original clothes. Bella quickly made her bed and jumped in. Bella allowed Calum to join her.
"This relationship is confusing." Bella laughed. "I still love you and I won't ever stop loving you." Bella pressed a quick kiss against Calum's lips.
"This mess is all my fault. I'm sorry. I love you so much." Calum returned the kiss and then let his pillow swallow his head. He dozed off immediately.
Bella lay in the cozy bed thinking about everything. She was really lucky to have Calum but she was quickly loosing him.
