Chapter 16 Breakups

"Beep! Beep!" Bella's alarm clock rang into her ear.

"Shit!" Bella threw her covers off her bed and jumped up. It was already 6:30. She didn't hear her alarm clock so now she had to get dressed for school really quickly.

Bella rushed to her dresser and pulled out the clothes she set aside last night. Ripped blue jeans and a sleeveless gray shirt. She slipped on her clothes and slowly brought her black choker over her head and down to her neck.

She rushed to the bathroom to go do her hair and makeup. Her hairbrush ripped through her knotty hair. When her hair was finally smooth she searched for a straightener. She really wanted to look nice today.

She went through her dead hair two times with her red and black straightener. Then when she finished her hair she unplugged and set down her straightener. Then she flew out of the bathroom and down the stairs.

Bella slipped on silver sandals. She threw her hair behind her ear and grabbed her bag. She quickly searched through her bag and made sure she had all her books.

Bella made her way to the kitchen and decided to make herself some breakfast. She went into her fridge and searched for something. Then she pulled an egg out of a box. She quickly set up a pan and cracked the egg into the pan. She waited as it sizzled.

When it was finally finished she scooped it out and put it on a plate. She brought it to her dinning room table and set it down on the hard wood. She ate it up and then sprinted back upstairs.

She darted into her room and grabbed her phone and slipped it into one of her back pockets. Then in the other back pocket she put a pack of bubble gum.

Bella brushed her teeth as fast as she could and scrambled to get out of the house. She grabbed her bag and ran out the back door.

Her and Calum were going to walk to school today. She slowly walked over to his house and rang the doorbell. She waited a few seconds until the glass door opened and she was greeted by Calum's friendly face.

"Hey babe!" Calum shouted as he picked up his bag from the floor and ran out of his house. Calum jumped onto Bella and wrapped his arms around her. He planted a soft kiss on her head and then released her.

"I'm so happy to see you!" She smiled.

"You look gorgeous today! Well you always look amazing." Calum laughed as he scanned Bella top to bottom.

"Yeah I just threw on some clothes." Bella lied. She stayed up all night trying to find a cute outfit.

"I've never seen your hair straightened." Calum spoke as he brushed through her perfect hair with his fingers.

"Well I just met you. It's nothing I just decided to straighten it today." Bella blushed. Calum knew that she was looking really nice for him but he decided to stop teasing her.

They arrived at school and walked in together holding hands. Bella expected Calum to let go eventually but he didn't. His soft hand tightly held hers.

"Hey man! Hey Bella!" Luke laughed and jumped all over Calum. Calum didn't let go of her hand. Bella surely expected him to let go when he saw Luke but he didn't even loosen his grip.

Luke stayed with them until they got to the classroom. They all walked into their first period class.

"Wanna grab a chair and bring it over to my desk?" Calum whispered into Bella's ear. She nodded and grabbed a stool from across the room. She dragged it back to Calum's long desk that he sat with Luke at.

She slowly sat down and stared into Calum's eyes. He smirked and grabbed her hand. They didn't do much in that class. The teacher pretty much let them talk the whole period.
