Chapter 27 Getting Out

Michael waited patiently for the doctor to return with his medicine. Memory's from when he was dating Bella filled up his mind. He knew that he had to get to her soon. Dead or Alive.

After what felt like an eternity, the doctor slowly walked in. A clear bottle was gripped into his palm. He made his way towards Michael and then handed him the tiny bottle.

"A few simple rules and then you're aloud to leave." The doctor smiled.

"Okay." A small smirk appeared on the side of Michaels face.

"First, you need to take it twice a day. Second, you have to take one before you go to bed and one when you wake up. Lastly, you take the pills until the bottle is empty." The doctor explained the directions and then left the room.

"Finally I can get out of this place!" Michael screamed happily in his head.

Bella walked around the tiny room waiting for the next doctor. She dragged herself in circles so she could get some exercise but it didn't work. After about a minute she flopped into a chair.

"Why did they even need to ask me all those stupid questions anyway?" Bella whispered to herself.

She had the worst headache and she felt like she could throw up any second. Her stomach roared and her throat screamed for water. She hasn't gotten up and walked for days. She could tell that she lost a lot of weight from not eating and her cuts were starting to heal.

All of a sudden Dr. Lovelis interrupted her thoughts. "Anything else you need dear?" She questioned.

"Yeah I want aspirin my head is killing me." Bella spoke.

"Sure thing. I'll be right back with some." Dr. Lovelis frowned.

"Thank you so much!" She yelled as she walked out of the room.

Bella twirled her blonde hair around until Dr. Lovelis came back with the aspirin.

"Sorry I took so long." Dr. Lovelis apologize as she handed her a small glass. "Anything else?" She continued.

"No thank you. I'm good." Bella took a quick sip of the water, took the aspirin and then handed them back. "I just have one more thing I need to ask you." Bella took a deep breath.

"Yes." Dr. Lovelis waited.

"Do you know when I am going to be able to leave." Bella asked.

"Well this isn't a real doctor sweet heart. You can leave whenever you want." Dr. Lovelis grinned.

"Wait you said that this was a hospital. You lied to me." Bella screamed.

"Well how was I suppose to get you to stay. Also, I didn't lie to you I just gave you false information so you would stay for a little while." Dr. Lovelis smiled like she did nothing wrong.

"That is pretty much the definition of lying." Bella rolled her eyes.

"Whatever. I'm getting out of this place. Goodbye." Bella waved and then raced to the nearest exit.

As she speed walked down the hallway she spotted a huge white door with light up red letters above it that spelled out "exit". Bella bounced up and then darted towards the bright door.

She took in a deep breath of fresh air and waved her arms around like a princess. After she realized that she looked ridiculous, Bella immediately brought her arms down and continued down the never ending road.

The gigantic "Hospital" was still visible but Bella knew that she had to have gotten pretty far, considering that she has been walking the whole day.

When the building was no longer close or visible, Bella began to recognize the area.

Calum woke up slowly. When he was greeted by warm air and a blanket he realized that he was in a moving car. Calum then noticed that he wasn't in his car anymore. He was in Michael Clifford's.

Michael waited for his car to be brought to the hospital.

After it came he drove out of the hospital parking lot.

After driving around for only a few hours he stumbled upon Calum. He expected to find Bella too but she was nowhere to be seen. He decided to wrap up Calum in a warm blue blanket and then blast the heat.

"I can see you have woken up." Michael spoke.

"Yeah. Where are you taking me?" Calum screamed.

"Nowhere I just need to tell you about a few things." Michael explained.

"Okay." Calum stared into Michael's eyes through the mirror.

"Bella tried to kill herself. I came and save her but then you tried to murder me. You shot me in the leg and I was brought to the hospital. You took Bella but you were drunk and now she could be anywhere. I don't think you remember any of this but right now we just need to find Bella. I picked you up from the street because I need your help."

"I'll help but I know that this didn't happen. I would never try to murder someone." Calum yelled.

"Even if you were drunk!" Michael shouted back.

Calum sat down and kept shaking his head no. Every single second of that day became visible in his head but he didn't want Michael to know that he remembered.

Bella continued wandering through the streets hopelessly. She had to find Michael soon.

"But if Calum and Michael are both still alive then who do I want to be with?" She thought to herself.
