Currently, Runa sat across from her ex-boyfriend in his office, Jungkook beside her with a scowl directed toward the cotton ball sitting in his leather chair, twiddling a specially made black pen in his hand that had Min engraved into the side. Per usual when in her presence, he had a flirtatious gaze and Jungkook despised being in the same room as him.

He was overwhelmingly sarcastic and way too comfortable with her for being an ex. Jungkook wouldn't mind reminding the younger of his place, but of course, he had to keep calm and let Runa do her thing. She was seeking his help and both Dong-Wook and the bodyguard were opposed to the idea at first, but when she discussed her plan, it made more sense why they would want him on their side.

Min Yoongi might be inherently nonchalant with his 'I don't give a fuck' personality, but he was still madly in love with Runa and both men knew that would never change. From the few times Jungkook met the man, he's always felt that those piercing feline eyes of his held secrets that could hurt her, but he dismissed it as being paranoid.

And maybe a tinge of disgust as well. That was only because he knew exactly what their relationship was about and he didn't ever blame Runa for that. In his eyes, although it wasn't right to use somebody especially when you didn't reciprocate their feelings, that was what they all did. He just didn't like that the cocky male ever got close to her in such an intimate way.

He could hear the sensuality in the male's tone, the playfulness that told him that when they were together, they were nothing but trouble. The bodyguard wasn't jealous, at least he thought he wasn't. Maybe it was the fact that he had a job that required overwhelming and invasive protectiveness, but the feeling he got around Yoongi was unsettling.

The only reason he indulged in the idea of partnering with him secretly was to take down Min-Su, which would benefit the Min family and he knew that because of his love for her, he'd do anything she asked of him. Even if it meant being a traitor and conspiring with the Kang heir to take down the city's biggest crime boss. So obviously Yoongi was basking in his glory, smug about being asked for help, although she didn't ask, she demanded.

"So Min-Su killed your mother who was friends with Dong-Wook and now you two are working with the Executioner, the Russian mafia boss who happens to be your brother, to take down your father so you can sit pretty on the throne?"

His smug attitude was annoying to her even when she used to find it so attractive. But what can she say, she's always had a thing for assholes. That much was clear due to her serious crush on the man sitting next to her. And with a soft sigh at the man's cocky tone, she nods.

"Yes. I know it's asking a lot considering how dangerous this is. If anyone found out, you and Dong-Wook would probably be killed for treason and conspiring against my father. But no one will find out. We keep this between us and I'd prefer if we had another ally on our side."

He raises a brow, intertwining his fingers with his papery thin lips pulled into a sly smirk, "Is that so?"

He was being a tease, she knew it. He wanted to hear her beg and that wasn't going to happen. So the next best thing was to boost his ego and make him feel special.

"Yoongi, you know me. I tell the truth no matter what and that is you're one of the strongest and most intelligent men I know. You're exceptional in combat and you're considered one of the best hackers worldwide. You know how valuable you are, and due to our history, I'm sure you know how much you'd be able to help me...us. This isn't for nothing."

"I know the risks you'd be taking, but to ensure your safety and discretion, if anyone starts asking questions, you won't need to worry. My brother will take care of it and he'll have his men looking after you."
