Taemin's escape begged the question as to why the surveillance system failed, how they couldn't hear anything from the hidden body cam on her blouse, and why for some reason he managed to slip past 100 men in the surrounding area. Yoongi said that the camera wouldn't have interference even underground. It was a guarantee. So why was it none of them could see anything from her end?

Yoongi put on a good face and looked upset just like everybody else did. Runa was seething, his words replaying in her mind in an endless loop. I know how you like to be licked. It had her hands shaking in her lap which she tried to conceal by intertwining them in a harsh grip. Her brother was disappointed more than anything. His sister was lucky to be alive and he should've known Taemin would get away. It was hard to catch him and none of the CCTVs seemed to work because they were hacked, the cameras stuck in one timeframe.

None of them suspected anything, and after taking a few moments to calm down, Runa told them what he said, leaving out two of his other comments she deemed unnecessary for them to know. She described the tattoos littering his face and neck, how he knew who their traitor was but refused to say anything other than the person was close to them. Jimin began to ponder what their next move should be now that Dong-Wook had rushed into the office, making sure she was ok and they were all in one piece. Her bodyguard could tell she wasn't in the mood to repeat the story so he did that for her when questioned.

"He's gone now and none of my men saw him exit the building. I don't know what happened or how it did, but whoever this traitor is knows too much and fucked with our system. He disappeared like he was never there in the first place."

The silver-haired male heaved out a sigh, shaking his head with aggravation. What could they do? What was there to find? What were they missing?

"We need to find him, he's not going to get away with this. That fucker blew up my car."

Yoongi rolls his eyes, although he immediately regrets it when that earns a glare from her, "Got something to say?", she spits out harshly, looking at her ex with a daring look, almost begging him to start some shit right now so she had an excuse to flip out and not look totally bat-shit crazy.

"It's just a car, Runa."

The way he softened his voice only made things worse. How he tried to act compliant when he failed to do as he was supposed to. He should've known better and kept his attitude caged, especially because he knew how easily she could read him. This wasn't the time nor place for his comments.

"It's my car, that he blew up to not only fuck with my head but to show us that he's not afraid and he'll go as far as he wants. It was a threat you ignorant little bastard."

Before he could get a word in and poorly defend himself, she cuts him off and he sits there taking all the heat. He was supposed to be the expert, the one to have their backs and what happened? His system got hacked. Now that seems plausible for anyone else but this was Min Yoongi. He lived and breathed technology, tinkering with electronics since he was a little boy. So how is it he managed to find zero solutions to this? She was more than upset. She was disappointed and disappointing her was one of those things you'd never live down.

"You have a lot of mouth to give for someone who doesn't have a place in my life to do so. You should know what that car meant to me, the fact that it was only materialistic has no meaning in this. He destroyed something of mine and remains untouched in whatever hole he's crawled back into, laughing to himself because he knows things we don't, and that's dangerous. We still have a traitor amongst us. Or did you forget that?"

There was no point in arguing, and although he never gave a shit about anyone else's opinion, he cared about hers. Her insults drove a knife in his heart that twisted deeper just by the look she gave him. Like he wasn't shit, as if he didn't matter to her, and it hurt so much worse to know that she always meant what she said.
