Chapter 5 - For Mom & Dad, a drawing to remember

A/N: *Timeskip, 5 years later...*

Rue's Pov

I always thought that mom was strange, he'd look at me with mix feelings and It made me sad... I didn't know why, but...I kind of feel other people's emotions, like I can sense what anyone was feeling at the moment. Whether it be Happiness, sadness, and etc...

I always thought that maybe It was because of Dad? Mom always saw him as a friend but Dad really likes mom. I was never allowed to go to school and instead, I was homeschooled by Mom. I thought it was normal so I was fine with It, I found interest in books and my mom always tried his best to buy me new books every week.

Also, there was this strange black man who always left an envelope full of cash on our kitchen table everyday. One night, I spoke to the man but he didn't talk, he only came close to me and patted my head before turning into some kind of goop. I tried to tell mom about it but he always said, "Sweetie, he's just your imagination, don't tell Color about this okay?". Of course I listened to mom, thats also when I realized that Mom REALLY placed Color in the friend zone.

After a few weeks passed, I kept seeing that black man more often. He'd watch me when I was playing in the backyard, whenever me and mom go shopping, and even when I accompany mom when he goes to work.

Oh, yeah! I forgot to mention that mom works at a local cafe every monday, wednesday, friday, and saturday. Oh, boy was mom obsessed with animals...I guess that's the reason why he works at 'Harlee's Café', that cafe was more of a animal home than a cafe. My most favorite dog to visit in that cafe was Helium, I don't know who named him but he's so smart and adorable!

But the most ridiculous thing my mom needs to do for work is wear a cafe-cat themed maid outfit. Worst part is it was a bit short-skirted and revealing, and my mom was super sexy! I was pretty sure that the owner of the shop was from Underlust... But atleast mom earns good money, I'm pretty sure we were well off financially but I think mom works there because there were lots of animals.. But when he works, he never fails to serve every customer but he always ignores the black man..

Although Mom doesn't have any romantic or sexual feelings for Dad, Dad always took care of me. He never fails to make me laugh and comforts me when mom is upset. I always thought that his skull with rainbow fire was cool but not as cool as mom's black tears and target soul tho'.

All I can say is, "I love my family!". I'm currently drawing a picture of my entire family with a beautiful sun and some green grass, ooh! Let's not forget Mom's target soul! After I was done, I pick up the paper and lift it up. I giggled looking at my drawing, Gonna show this to Mom and Dad Later!
