☆ Chapter 18

18 : You Made Him Cry

You woke up, finding yourself in a hospital. You don't know where. Doctors and nurses running around. It hurt everywhere. You wondered where Kaeya and Diluc where more importantly. The heartbeat monitor is going real fast huh.

You wondered if you were gonna die, were you gonna die? You had so much things to say before you wanted to. You haven't even finished highschool, yet look where you are now. You were praying you wouldn't die. Not yet. Not now.

As you start to think about dying while still young, your eyes close. But your heartbeat doesn't stop just yet.

*Scaramouche's View*

Looking at the phone huh? Just text them already. He knows damn well you woukd respons quickly otherwise.

Scaramouche
"I can't believe I'm not doing this." He says as he pressed the send button.

Scaramouche
"I see, not responding right away."

Raiden Shogun
"What is it Kunikuzushi?"

Scaramouche
"None of your damn business that's it!"

Raiden Shogun
"Salty, much?"

Scaramouche
"Just leave me alone!"

Raiden Shogun
"Your partner isn't responding, correct?"

Scaramouche
"..."
"Yes."

Raiden Shogun
"Maybe their busy or something. Wait for few minutes. If not, maybe a few hours. Slowly but surely, they're bound to respond."

Scaramouche
"I've never heard yiu give actual advice before. Round of applause everyone."

Raiden Shogun
"I'll leave you alone for now. See you, Kunikuzushi"

Scaramouche
"Stop calling me Kunikuzushi. Don't you understand how I hate that name?"

Raiden Shogun
"You mean the name mom gave you?"

Scaramouche
"Yes, that's why I hate it. Tell yourself, did she even give us the least bit of attention growing up?"

Raiden Shogun
"..."
"No."

Scaramouche
"Exactly. There was a reason why she sent us to live with Auntie Makoto. Only did she ever take us in whenever she liked and look where we are now. At Auntie Makotos place again."

Raiden
"I'll leave you for now, see you later, Scaramouche." She closes the door behing Scaramouche.

He does as his sister says. Leaving his phone alone to wait for you to respond. He knows about how you love painting. So he decided to paint for you. He has kept numerous photos of you anyway.

Scaramouche
"Auntie Makoto! Auntie Makoto!"

Makoto
"Yes dear?"

Scaramouche
"I, uhm well.. can I go to National Bookstore?"

Makoto
"For what?"

Scaramouche
"I wanna paint something.."

Makoto
"Are you sure it's a something and not a someone?"

Scaramouche
"Actually, someone."

Makoto
"And who is that lucky somone? Perhaps it's Y/n?"

Scaramouche
"Don't tell my mom please. But yes, I do like Y/n."

Makoto
"Oh?"

Scaramouche
"I- well.. it's a bit confusing."

Makoto
"Go on, I won't stop you from perusing them." She says as a smile creeps on to her face.

Scaramouche
"Thank you."

Makoto
"Be careful on your way!"

He walks out of the door, carrying a backpack to put the supplies in. He takes the bus and sits alone in the back. No one else was on the bus since it was late at night. He got to the store and quickly bought his items. He stored it in the bag and left.

Scaramouche
"I hope they'll like this.."
"I really hope so.."

Just then, he got a call.

???
"SCARA!!!"

Scaramouche
"Xiao? What happend?"

Xiao
"ITS Y/N!! T-THEY GOT INTO A CAR CRASH!"

As soon as he heard it, he quickly ended the call. Tears running down his face. What did Xiao mean by you in a car crash? He didn't know. He opens him and Xiao's private chat.

this chapter was made out of when i felt guilty for making a special someone cry

lets just say she broke my fan and then i cried and i didnt know she broke my fan but then i found out and then she started crying and now i hated myself for knowing i was the reason she cried that day
