Today was the worst day ever!! Everyone was giving mean comments! They gave me looks, too. It was weird that it was only the girls....and the gay guys, too, but that's just sort of disturbing. I'm not against gay people, it's just that it's weird that they're mad at me for supposedly dating my best friend.

Josh is one of the coolest guys in school, so it's obvious everyone wanted to get with him.

Another weird thing was that when I got to gym, I accidentally bumped into Brandon on my way in. Instead of hitting me or something like that he gave me this look. He turned with an angry expression on his face but when he saw me his expression changed immediately. It was like he was hypnotized or something.

I was getting creeped out. Then all of a suddenly yelled, "MATE!!" Everyone looked our way. His friends just stared at us with a surprised expression on their faces while everyone else looked at us like we're crazy.

I moved to walk away but Brandon put hands around my waist holding my close to his chest. The surprising part is that he was being gentle and had a loving expression on his face.

"Let go of me," I whispered, panicking. What if he's playing a joke on me so that everyone would laugh at me and treat me worse than they already do.

"Why would I do that? You're mine!" He said with ownership, staring into my eyes.

I stared into his eyes trying to see if he was being a doosh bag. The only thing I saw was love and compassion.

"I want you. Come to my place later. I want to talk to you about something," He told me .

"Okay," what? It's not like I have a choice.

After school, I met Brandon behind the school where he always parked.

"Hey babe," he greeted. This time when he said that it was different. Like in a non mean way.

"Hi," I replied, looking down at my feet.

"Come here," he said, for the first time it wasn't an order, though I had to go to him.

I walked over to him and stopped right in front of him. He grabbed my waist--gently--and pulled my to his chest. He snuggled to my body and buried his face in the crook of my neck, "I'm sorry for how I've been treating you...ever since I first met you."

"Are you serious?" I asked looking anywhere but on his face.

"Yes I am," He smiled at me and went to the driver's side and opening the door. "Are you coming?" I shook my head and entered the vehicle.

~~~Brandon"s P.O.V.~~~
I was in the gym waiting for Vanessa to come in. I was bored and wanted something to do. My and my friends were joking around when someone bumped into me. I was mad. Anyone who does that will not walk away without some consequence.
I spun around furious until I saw it was Vanessa. All of a suddenly I felt my wolf rising up in me. My whole world froze into place. I felt my facial expression change and I felt connected to her. She was now who I lived for now. Wait! She can't be m mate. Her?
"MATE!" my wolf yelled through me. That was it. Now everyone one knows. Well...only my pack members understand what it means. Vanessa is going to be their new Luna.
She tried to walk away from me but I gently pulled her to my chest, "Let me go," she protested against my touch. It angered me but I had to be patient with her.
"Why would I do that? You're mine!" I said with ownership plain in my voice, staring into her eyes. I was looking for something but I didn't know what. Then I guess I found it because. I just accepted her as my mate. I accepted who she is. I admit that I am not ashamed to be mated to her.
She was looking for something in my eyes too but I think she's just looking for any sign of a bluff.
"I want you," I admitted, "Come to my place later. I want to talk to you about something."
"Okay," she answered like it was an automatic answer.
"Hey babe," I greeted, in my usual way but it sounded different, as she walked over to my car.
"Hi," she replied, looking at her feet.
For some reason I didn't like when she did that. "Come here."
She walked over to me slowly and stopped directly in front of me. I wanted her to be closer. I gently pulled her against my chest, burying my face in the crook of her neck, smelling her delicious scent. It was like vanilla mixed with strawberries and roses. "I'm sorry for how I've been treating you...ever since I first met you."
"Are you serious?" she asked astonished.
"Yes I am," I smiled at her.
I noticed that we were standing there for a while. I let her go--unwillingly--and walked over to the driver's side of my car, opening the door. Before I went in, I asked, "Are you coming?"
She rushed to the passenger side of the car and jumped in.
